Otherside Deli

This is such a yummy place! I ordered the Rowdy Roddy. It was very yummy and you can definitely tell that it was made fresh! I paid $19 dollars for the sandwich, chips & water. I would say the price is a little steep for a sandwich but the quality and taste definitely make up for it. I would absolutely come back!

Great sandwich! Just so easy but people will still mess it up. These guys didn’t! I think it’s such a great thing having a deli shop that isn’t Subway or appended to a grocery store. It’s a lost art which I’m glad these guys are holding strong to. Also, love their quirky alien themed art pieces hanging in the restaurant.

I read about Otherside Deli in an article a few weeks ago stating it was the best sandwich in Texas. My husband and I were on vacation near Austin so he surprised me and took me over. Our interaction was with the owner and he was so pleasant, proud of his business, his product, and truly provided good customer service. He informed us that they make their own pastrami after I complemented the Rueben. I hadn’t had pastrami that delicious in a long time. My husband loved the cheesesteak. There was an extremely steady flow of business. Even though we arrived an hour before close. Fingers crossed his business prospers and I find myself there every time I’m near Austin.

Super friendly and quick service. A lot of tasty menu items. Deli Sandwiches: Corned Beef - 4/5 Hot Subs: Cheesesteak - 5/5 Sides: Tots - 5/5 Dessert: Black and White Cookie - 4/5 Everything is super fresh and super tasty. Cheesesteak was very good. The tots are amazing. Very crispy, and delicious dipping sauces.

Listen y'all I cannot say enough good things about this deli. I am an East Coast native and grew up on terrific subs on Long Island. I stumbled upon this deli this past week and ordered the Italian sub. The meats were phenomenal and the bread was so legit. The staff was also incredibly friendly and genuinely happy I was there. I cannot wait to go back. The prices are a little steep considering the size of the sandwich but it was worth it. This is my go to sub shop in Austin now. If they need a spokeswoman, I'm available!
