Panomenal milk shake! I had the special that had some kind of dissolving cookie dough bites on top. Cosmic cookie dough? The combination of flavor and texture were a true delight. Magical presentation with edible star confetti and swirls of chocolate. Yum!
These shakes are amazing! I dairy very hard and initially rolled my eyes at the concept of vegan shakes, but boy was I wrong! The shakes are delicious with super fresh ingredients, and the staff is lovely! Female-owned, LGBTQ+ friendly business, as well. Do yourself a favor and get over to Milky Way ASAP!
Delicious shakes! The regular menu is always amazing. This time I got this month's special, the Peanutbutter Extra Terrestrial in a size small and loved every bite of brownie oreo peanutbutter goodness. The meringue mushroom was a treat
Their violet was my all time favorite, till I had Rite up spring today. It was so good with edible flowers and the yum pistachio white chocolate bark on top. I would like to have an endlesss cup of this everyday!!!
Very excited to find this place! I’ve always dreamed of a vegan milkshake place and here it is hiding in a vegan corner of Austin! Cute atmosphere & absolutely delicious shakes 🤤 I would visit here again if I had the time before heading out of town. The girls were nice and they even saved my purse for me. I left it at their table and after an hour I finally made it back to hopefully find it after leaving it behind. I wish I could pack them up and take them with me back to me home town. Stop and get yo vegan milkshake already!

Everything this “food” truck offers is Vegan based. I have tried pretty much all of their flavors and fallen head over heels for the Star-Berry Lemon Cloud! 🍓🍋☁️The star-berry lemon cloud is what I can best describe as an OG orange julius! This “milk”shake truck has become an end of the week staple for me! With all of their ice creams, sauces, compotes, & baked goods in-house made this decadent shake truck should take the cake!💖🍰

I remember first trying Milky Way Shakes waaaaaay back when they were tucked away at the old Spider House complex. I ordered a shake and was enjoying it when my friend met me there and went to order one too. She came back with it and was raving about how delicious it was. "I can't believe they're vegan!" she said. Wait. What?? I literally had no idea they were vegan! That's how indistinguishable it is from a traditional shake that uses milk-based products. So if you're like me and would normally scoff at vegan bases foods but are growing increasingly (and alarmingly) lactose intolerant -- Milky Way Shakes is the place for you. You can finally enjoy a milk that is, again, INDISTINGUISHABLE from a milk-based shake without the repercussions. All of the regular flavors are good (The Starberry is my favorite -- basically strawberry lemon curd shake) but my pro tip is to ask what monthly special they have going on. It's always something seasonal, delicious and fun.
This place was so phenomenal. Absolutely stunning. It is tucked away in Spider house so I consider it a hidden gem. As a vegan, this milk shake was the best I had ever had because it didn’t leave me feeling stuffed at the end. I recommend getting a large because you are going to want more. The presentation of the shakes was so cool and unique. The purple ones on the right are The Silver Dollar and the one on the left is the Oreo Borealis. Both equally amazing. Come here if you are looking for a vegan pick me up!
