I wish I lived in Austin so I could go here all the time!!! I absolutely love what these folks are doing, using Barton Springs APF in their biscuits, showcasing seasonal local produce in their jam rotation, making handpies, and selling adorable giftable curated dry goods. I had an incredible walk in experience as well- the lady on front of me ordered the last few handpies. When I inquired about what they might have in the back, one of the bakers asked if I would wait and she could bake off some for me from the freezer? It was ABSOLUTELY worth the wait!!! And in the meantime I had biscuits with butter and jam (i picked two flavors) and the subtlety of the pear meyer lemon really surprised me in the best possible way.

IF THE CHAIRS ARE OUT, THEY ARE OPEN!! Their sign isn't up and the coated windows make it look dark, but they are open! Wonderful service and food. Ask for a metal knife, or bring your own; the plastic knives they gave us broke when trying to cut the cold butter. Great jams make great gifts!

Excellent drip coffee I had: The pimento cheese and tomato biscuit Drip Coffee Poteet Strawberry jam with two biscuits Blueberry Scones (boxed to take away) All excellent and nice seasoning in the pimento cheese. I enjoyed the heirloom tomatoes which accompanied the pimento cheese biscuit. The butter is outstanding. The butter, various in house made jams; and pimento cheese are available to take away.

This is such a lovely shop with even lovelier people running it! I buy (gorgeous local) flowers from them sometimes, and it is such a joy to interact with these guys each and every time.

The cutest little kitchen you ever did see, and the yummiest jams and biscuits you should eat. Come early, because they run out of freshly baked biscuits! Of course, you could take home a frozen batch to bake at home...just remember to grab some jams too! My favorite is the poteet strawberry jam.

A comfortable, cozy shop to join your friends for a leisurely coffee and flavor-full breakfast or lunch. Yes the flaky biscuits are fantastic - and in addition to homemade jam and creamy butter, they are offered with locally-sourced bacon and eggs, pimiento cheese (the BEST) with sliced tomatoes, and a rotating menu of crispy pork belly, smoked brisket, etc. GREAT coffee, other pastries and salads available as well. Love this place!

Love this tiny place beyond measure. Took one of their cooking classes and have been hooked. Have taken another class and love stopping by for a quick bite whenever close. Don’t leave without trying the biscuits and jams! One of the classes I took was to learn how to make their biscuits. Small place with limited hours but worth the trip!

What a great neighborhood find! This place is fabulous - the biscuit sandwiches are unbelievably good, and it's great that they support other local TX vendors by using and selling their products. The jams would be a great gift. The owner was extremely sweet and came out to chat with us, which we appreciated. Great food, great atmosphere - we will definitely be back!
