This husband and wife team has been serving up consistently good food since before I discovered them on a electric bike food tour in 2015. If you're looking for a brunch place you can waltz into at 11 and be seated with no wait, this is your spot. The fact that you'll still be thinking of the food later is the delightful icing on the cake. The eggs benedict is served in a light pop-over, the blueberry muffin billed as the best in the world does not disappoint and the eponymous Bonneville cocktail is one of my fave in town.

Just wonderful. The food is really excellent and the service very attentive without being intrusive. Great cocktails (i had the "lucille"); I ordered the scallops and they were fantastic, with slightly crunchy scallion rice cake and cooked to perfection. It was a slow night so the owner personally came to our table to give me advice on wine (with even a taster) and told us about how they source their wines etc. The place feels airy and modern but comfortable. All together a perfect special evening.

Great drinks for a holiday work party. Bacon infused whiskey and whiskey in the hot chocolate eotn homemade whipped cream and a candy cane were amazing! Pretzels were served hanging above a condiment bar. Several seating areas with traditional tables, some standing tables, and seating around the bar on barstools. Large windows fill the room with natural light and the simple setting brings a calm atmosphere. Wonderful place to have drinks or a bite to eat!

I found this place on a whim while trolling for a place for good drinks. This place is not corporate, owned by a husband and wife team of chefs that seek to have a more authentic experience. I was there for happy hour with a friend and the whole vibe was chill. Not crowded at all. (Maybe 4 others the whole time). Happy hour was $2 off cocktails. The service was outstanding. This is my new after work hangout

Overall great experience! My husband and I thought the atmosphere and service were awesome. I LOVED my chicken entree, it very flavorful and tender. The drink menu was unique and my cocktail tasted so fresh. Prices are definitely reasonable too. The only feedback for improvement would be an expanded appetizer/a la carte menu. We wanted oysters, but they were sold out. There wasn't another appetizer that really caught our eye. There was only one soup to chose from, which neither of us cared for and no side dish options, which was a bummer. We would go back, but it would be great to see an expanded menu first.

We had 11 in our party, business dinner with out of town guests. The food was AMAZING - with all of the different preferences in our group, everyone was happy with what they ordered. I had the scallops and they were perfectly cooked, would order them again. This is not a rush-you-through-dinner place - there was ample time to relax and enjoy. Location is very close to Congress Ave bat viewing, so we walked over (pretty much only had to cross the street) after dinner to see the bats. Guests were happy, had a memorable evening.

I have been eating here once a week for the last three years: always a genuinely professional hospitality experience with the touch of small, independent (yet very experienced) business owners. Aside from the carefully prepared dishes (chicken under a brick in its many incarnations, mussels, steak, soups - incredible soups, incredible salads, fried pasta, etc.), it's an open and welcoming dining environment with a great front-of-the-house staff and a team in the kitchen that is very, very good with flavors. Brunch is a must do: the food tastes even better than the pictures make it look, which is very difficult if you look on their online pages (Mothers' Day brunch last year was phenomenal). This place does not market itself 'hard' as is common in our city; instead, the owners keep a genuine / tried-and-tested approach to their products, their customers, and the vibe of the team up front.

Sunday brunch: The Bacon Tater Tots appetizer, 4$ for LITERALLY 5 tots was not worth it, although tasty I would not purchase again. The Bananas Foster french toast was really good and don't waste your time getting the bottle over the carafe for mimosas. The carafe is just as good for half the price. The goat cheese tart; more like puff pastry with a goat cheese spread and quartered tomatoes and pesto but was delicious. The Avocado Toast on challah; the bread was not even the size of an English muffin so the poached eggs were bigger than the bread. Service was excellent! Not too in your face but if you needed something they were quick to assist. We went on Father's day and there were plenty of open tables, but we also got there right when they opened. All in all, I would go again but it wouldn't be at the top of my list of "let's go here!" places.

I visited The Bonneville for their Superbowl event and had a great time! My friend and I sat at the bar to watch the festivities, and ate pizza and other items off of their Superbowl menu. Everything we ate was delicious and fresh, I especially liked the pizza. We also had some drinks which were also tasty and potent. The thing I liked the most was the service, which was a stand out. The bartender was friendly and fun to chat with, and gave us free shots when a certain team scored (sadly they lost). The chef and kitchen staff ended their evening at the bar, chatting with customers and the bartender. I had a wonderful time and I will definitely be back!

We did a Tasting Collective event here a few weeks ago and it was delicious. The scallops are cooked perfectly and we also really enjoyed beets. Husband and wife chef duo are a hoot too. Can’t wait to go back here again.
