I will always love this restaurant, regardless of how much of their menu they can offer or whether or not you can enjoy their chill atmosphere. I was so sad to hear about them potentially closing for good, so when I found out they were open again, I did not hesitate to go support a great group and get some amazing food. There is nothing like it that I know of in the area and you literally can't go wrong no matter what you order! They are also completely on top of gluten allergies as the owner also deals with it so there is no worry when we eat here with our family! I will always support Joe Caribe and their delicious food!plus, they are selling jars of their delicious mango hot sauce right now! Hands down one of my favorite places to go in auburn. I hope that they continue to thrive through all of the chaos!

We saw their billboard advertisement as we were coming back from Sugar Bowl. So glad we stopped. Food was fantastic! I had the Salmon tacos and my wife had curry shrimp burritos. Best we ever had. Even the black beans and rice that came with the meal was great. I live in the Sac area and we will travel the 30 minutes back there regularly to try the other items on the menu. Food was 5 stars!

One of our favorite restaurants, and a favorite of our out of town guests, as well. Great flavors and spice combinations. Love the tacos and the pork mojo sandwich, but pro-tip, get the pork burrito WITH shrimp. Always get an extra side of slaw and an extra side of pickled carrots. The short rib dinner is great too. Really, we love everything. Joe has done a great job with the menu.

I kept smelling the food from across the motel I was staying at. I finally walked over and I'm glad I did. I had the mango glazed chicken. I'd recommend the chicken. Everyone I know was telling me to get the fish tacos but I went for the catfish instead. Catfish was bomb. The service is also excellent. My waiter was on target with dessert recommendations. I cant wait to come back.

Went to lunch today with my husband and 2 friends for the first time. Since I have a food allergy I spoke to the chef and asked if he could prepare something without that ingredient and we decided on a salad with grilled shrimp. It was well seasoned with perfectly cooked shrimp. The other 3 in our party had fish tacos which they all enjoyed very much. Our waiter was attentive and delightful. I will recommend this place to all my friends and will be back soon.
