Sapporo Teriyaki

This place was great, the old owners made the best fried rice I'd ever had in my life & I almost always ordered it. It got to the point where the lady at the front always knew my order when I'd come in after school. Then, everything changed when the new owners came in. After months passed since my last visit, I came back, unaware of the ownership switch, and I got some food. Everything good about this place left with the old owners. The food was burnt and bland, the new staff was abrupt and unpleasant, and even some of the neat little art pieces from before were no longer present. I'm actually glad it closed down, at least now the new owners won't make more of a mockery of the place than they already have. Such a shame.

I say zero stars but I put one star so I can write a review. The new owners are not customers service friendly. The new guy has dry sarcasm. So if you are not sarcastic you will find it awful. The food isn't that great. The old owners are 10xs better and customer service friendly. The food was way better then . Then it is now. I used to go there all the time and the old owner knew my order. I am not going back to this place. EVER!!'

Food is always delicious and service is awesome With the Old Owners!!! BEWARE!!!!! NEW OWNERS are not customer service oriented. I went There for lunch today to get my usual Chicken & Gyoza Lunch Combo, asked for it spicy, the guy said well then that isn't the lunch special and you will have to get the full size? I said. just to make it spicy? I always get it that ways. He said well that was the old owners, you have to get full size. I said never mind and walked out the door, I WILL NOT be returning and I will make sure all my co-workers who frequent this place know also, plus who wants someone who is dripping with sweat taking their food order.

I've driven by this restaurant for many years, today I decided to call and place a takeout order.... I was so happy when I saw my favorite dish, Singapore Noodle on the menu. i order 3 menu items, all were FANTASTIC!!! The prices are very reasonable, the restaurant clean, employees are super friendly. I always seem to crave teriyaki on Sunday's, but no ones ever open. But Sapporo Teriyaki is! Now I can't imagine getting teriyaki from any where else. Try it out, you won't be disappointed!

My wife and I have been going to Saporro's for years and always enjoyed their food, with the exception of the Kung Pao which I don't like breaded chicken. It is under new ownership and it is not good However tonight we stopped by and ordered Garlic chicken, it was awful. About 1/3 of the dish was garlic much of it burned in addition the chicken had little or no sauce and was virtually tasteless. It had two carrot slices and about 6 pieces of onion We would not recommend and will be looking for a new Teriyaki joint in Auburn

Is under new ownership, but haven't found any improvements. The current phone number listed is disconnected. And the new owners or people working have bad customer service skills. One person barked orders at the other and the person taking orders smelled like cigarettes. They have taken all the Bento boxes and Wok combinations off the menu. I ended up cancelling my order and walking out.
