Kisso Asian Bistro

We had an afternoon family photo shoot in Old Towne and hungry tummies brought us to Kisso, a corner restaurant. We were in the front corridor upon entering and was greeted at the front and seated. We ordered and drinks and our miso soup arrived first. My daughtet said it tasted like sea water. Our entrees followed and as appetizing as they appeared, the seasoning on the rice dishes and drunken noodle’s flavor was a bit overpowered by the spiciness, however, my daughter had the eel and salmon sushi and enjoyed it. The atmosphere was nice and clean. The service was what you can expect. Overall the consensus for us were we were hoping the flavor of the dishes would be on point and it flat for us.

Kisso was amazing! Both for in person dining and takeout. I had the seaweed salad, spicy tuna rolls, salmon and avocado rolls, and tuna nigiri - it was all delicious! My fiancee had the angry dragon roll and really liked it as well. Lastly the location can't be beat - it's right in the heart of Old Town!

Oh, the most wonderful place. Every bite is perfectly delicious. The staff is nice and the place is super cute, placed in the middle of Old Town Alexandria. The view!! Back to food, we eat there, take out. Sushi is fresh, excellently prepared, other dishes as well for the whole family and all taste buds.
