My friends and I have been going every week for the past year+. They serve great ramen and curry. If you can handle the heat then the level five miso ramen is for you. The service is just as good as the food. Highly recommend going here.
We just stopped by this Ramen restaurant. The soup tastes so good, they keep the original Japanese recipe. I would recommend this place, if you want to try real Japanese foods.
This was my first visit to this restaurant. I was in a party of 3 at 530 pm on a Friday. The restaurant was extremely busy! We ordered some sake for the table, an appetizer, and three entrees. I had the chicken curry. I had never had Japanese curry. I thought the sauce for the curry was really flavorful! The appetizer was a ball of flavor that exploded in my mouth. The only issue with the meal was that the appetizer came out with the meal. The appetizer was very hot, well displayed and garnished. I recommend this restaurant and I look forward to visiting again.
Decent menu. Well thought out dishes. Service is pretty good. And it's got that university Japanese ramen vibe to it.
The food is good. I found that I am not much for ramen. I will not let that dampen my review because I don't think it's the restaurant's fault. The ramen was a little cold and so were some of the ingredients. Not sure if that's a normal thing. There was not enough ramen to counter the other ingredients and the ramen was overshadowed by the picked ginger. The chicken goyza was pretty good. We had some fried tofu that was really good. Now as for service we got in, someone seated us. Then we waited for drinks and for someone to get us something to drink. We were seated right next to the kitchen. And with that said we didn't get a refill till we got the check and we're about to leave.
Got the Deluxe Tofu and the Tonkotsu. Both were amazing. We got the level 5 spice and it wasn’t as hot as I thought. If you are used to eating spicy food then you should be fine. The tofu was bartered and fried and the broth was very creamy. Be prepared for some wait times during busy hours.
Super delicious! I had the veggie ramen with 5 star spice & my buddy had the chicken curry with 1.5 star spice; everything was super tastey!
Honestly, we thought we found the Naruto Ramen shop when we arrived, and so did others stopping in (they were wearing Naruto shirts!). However, we didn’t realize Naruto was actually, literally, another two doors down the street until after we'd ordered.. How did we miss that you may ask? Because the shop has the word "RAMEN" over the door with a Naruto-like, brushstroke circle for their emblem.. And, why would another ramen shop be two doors away? Anyway, the service staff were friendly yet overwhelmed and, therefore, slow. The prices weren't terrible though, and the food was tasty!
One of several noodle places directly across from the university. O Ramen is one of the few that has gluten-free options available. Food is great, and portion sizes are quite large, especially for the price. The atmosphere is nice with dark wood decor.
Our waiter was fairly attentive, but also didn't seem very personable (they weren't into any extra chatting). Overall, it was a really good experience, and we would love to try other items on the menu.
I love this place. Been here like four times and never disappoints. Basically, ramen is served here and it is awesome, especially on a cold night like tonight. The place is not fancy and they have an open kitchen with excellent service.
Best ramen in the city. Whether you’re sitting down there or even take out, O’Ramen does a stellar job. I recommend above anywhere else. Personally, the crispy chicken is my favorite, but every deluxe bowl I’ve had has been exceptionally tasty.
One of the best Ramen houses in Abq. Wonderful staff, even when they are busy and slammed, they are cooking and serving with a smile. The broth in the Tonkotsu Ramen is very very good.
