I loved this restaurant as soon as I walked in, were greeted by a friendly hostess and shown promptly to our table. Our server was knowledgeable about the wines and the menu. The atmosphere was white table cloth but chic.
The place was full , but it was running like a well oiled machine. I hade the Portabello,corn cake and creamy succotash dish, it came with your choice of one of their 3 salads. I got the watermelon with fresh greens and feta. Both were home runs. My wife got the seared scallops and they were done to a turn and very tasty. The wine pairings on the menu were spot on. I wish Columbia had a restaurant like this.
We will definitely take the short drive back!
The burger was excellent. The shrimp and grits were very good. Staff was very friendly and attentive.
Came here for a family dinner and had an enjoyable experience. The baked feta is amazing and the scallops were delicious. All for adults order the Fillet as their main course and it was quite good. The Star deduction is due to one of the filets not being cook to the requested temperature and the rest of us having to sit awkwardly, for about 10 minutes, with our food waiting on the other to be returned to the table. This is an upscale formal establishment and much more is expected.
I would still recommend this food experience, just ensure that the order is understood.
I brought my family here to celebrate our Holiday meal together. Jessica was out server and she was phenomenal. We all had the fillet and it was cooked to perfection. The wine list was a little heavy on the drier selections, but I found a semi-sweet Riesling that delighted my palette. I will visit again next time I am in Augusta as this is a perfect intimate venue for celebrating special occasions with people you love. Thank you, Malia's and Jessica for giving my family and I such a wonderful dining experience this holiday.
We came for an early bird evening meal and left with a very pleased experience. The menu was excellently designed, which allowed us to select a variety of food that showed the expertise of the food preparation. Hence, we found the soup, salad, bread, small plates, and entree to be tasty and enjoyable. WE WILL RETURN!!
The wait for our food was a little slow and the staff seemed a bit pushy. The food was good overall.
