One of the best restaurants in Aiken. Staff is polite and service is great. I decided to try the eggplant stack with vegetable risotto last night and so glad I did. It was the BEST eggplant dish I have ever had. My husband enjoyed the pork scallopini as well. Cocktails were also well made. We we too full for dessert but I was eyeing the kahlua brownie sundae!

Highly recommend this small Southern Town Restuarant with an eclectic, high end touch of class. Black Bean Cakes were sooo good. Great drink menu and top notch service for. Sydney. We were in Augusta for business and it was well worth the drive. 4.8 rating from me.

This is where my husband and I tried... And go for every special occasion. It feels like the food was prepared just for you! I am reading reviews and am stunned. We have been going for birthdays and our anniversary for 5 years now - it never changes. We walk out amazed. Honestly. I've never had salmon that stays hot the entire time I'm eating it! No, the portions aren't humongous, they are right. Just right. And good! Oh so good! My husband's had the duck twice - it's not always available - and it's his #1 fav! I'm seafood. And oohhh, it's always to perfection. We are from Michigan (5 years ago) and love the restaurant in Aiken--- but Malia's-- it's simply special :))
My meal at Malia's wad the best I've had in ages. Usually expect to pay at least double for that quality cuisine. Excellent, can't wait to go back.
Great Place to Dine. We felt we got excellent value for our dollar at Malia's. Our fish and chicken dishes were perfectly cooked. The service and decor (outside back patio) were excellent. We stopped by again and found that we needed reservations. We will return!
The Tried and True. Maybe I adore Malia's Restaurant so much because I actually adore the owner Malia so much, but I don't think that is really the whole story. Recently the restaurant has dedicated itself to buying organic or all natural ingredients to all of their dishes and to me, that is a sign of a restaurant that cares about the well being of the environment as well as the well being of its customers. And I, for one, appreciate this. This commitment would mean nothing, of course, if the food was then not prepared well, but I have never had a bad meal at Malia's. In fact, I have had some of my most memorable meals there and look forward to many, many more in the future. I truly believe that Malia's sets the bar for the rest of the town.
Delicious as always. I generally eat lunch here once or thrice a month. I work in Aiken, but live in Lexington, so I've never been for dinner. Consistently a nice variety of lunch options and every meal excellent. As a former professional chef, my criteria is high. They separate components appropriately to reconstruct once back at my clinic. Only experienced take out, so I cannot speak to the quality of service.

We were a party of six, discussing personal issues. The wait staff was respectful and efficient, perfect in other words. The food prep and presentations were very good, consistent whenever we visit Malia's.

Super great atomsphere best enjoyed in formal or casual dressy attire. Smooth Jazz in the background and mid to low noise level. Great wall art and interesting wood trellis dividing the front from the back. My fiance and I did not have to wait to be seated on a busy Thursday evening, and the waitress was kind and attentive to our needs. There was a little bit of a wait between courses, but that is to be expected from a venue that creates delicious high dollar food, not to mention that it allows your stomach to settle and your taste buds to be refreshed for the next course. Entrees were a minimum of $25 dollars, with the high end around $32 from what I saw. Entrees came with a side of salad, and a very small serving of bread. We both chose the main salmon dish, and it was top notch. Flavors were wonderful and everything was cooked to perfection. Appetizers were between 6 and 8 dollars and we were not able to sample their wide variety of alcohol selection. Soda was limited to a small selection, but no doubt because their market is more of a fine wine feel anyways. Will definitely go there again for special occasions, but for an average consumer this isn't really a monthly spend. 10/10 would recommend.
We discovered this restaurant while exploring Aiken. It's become a favorite since moving here. Always good service & a number of different entrees are offered each week along with local favorites.
Excellent ambiance, the waiter was on point. The food was exceptional. I would definitely recommend this place. The price was very reasonable.
Malia's quality and fresh food make for a divine experience. Shrimp and grits are a favorite choice. Also the Bananas Foster topped off the meal with a yummy sweet comfort on a cold rainy day. Glad to have Malia's in Aiken for all these years!!!
