Hard Hat Restaurant

Was in the middle of a 50 mile bike ride and swung in here to have some breakfast. They use to be cash only but now accept card with a convenience fee which was a pleasant surprise. I had sausage gravy and biscuits with hash browns and bacon. Food is excellent. I was still able to ride the next 13 miles home without much grief. If you're in Wooster check out the hard hat. If you want a little of everything get the bulldozer! It looks great!

Food was ok. Actually the fried bologna was really good! Service was slow but they were very friendly so that was not a big deal she was the only waitress so can’t blame her she did her best. The real kicker is they charge a 3.5% fee if you use credit card! As a person who uses a credit card almost exclusively for fraud protection, points and security it seems silly that this should even be a charge. Add the cost to the food not the back end, don’t charge some people more because they choose to use a widely available and popular form of payment. For this reason I probably won’t be back. To some people this isn’t a big deal and that is their choice.
