Highly recommended. I got the pancakes, bacon and potatoes. Bacon was cooked great. Pancakes had a good fluff to it and potatoes were crisp and tasty. Husband ordered bacon and cheese omelette and he said it was very good! Tasty and not bland. I noticed on the table they support the local dairy farm which was a plus and their ketchup is organic. They use all name brand products land o lakes butter and brand jelly. Coffee they kept full and even brought me the carafe! The atmosphere was great and they played great 80’s music. I noticed they had delicious desserts if you go later in the day. Their menu was huge! A+!

We have been coming to CB for over 20 years now and have never ate here until now - and I could kick myself for that! 🤦🏻‍♀️It was sooooo delicious and very affordable - with the Early bird Special (3-5pm) - we enjoyed it so much that we came back 2 days in a row! The service was top notch both times too! The food came out at super warp speed!! Definitely a good place to go if in a hurry! The broccoli casserole, scalloped potatoes, green beans, and the bacon cheddar ranch potatoes were the greatest food I’ve ever ate !! 😋😋😋 And the chopped steak with gravy and onions was so good that we ordered it both days. I can’t believe we come to the beach and get better (and authentic) home cooking food than where we live in Appalachia of WV! 🥇🏆Highly recommend this place to any tourists if you haven’t been! You will NOT be disappointed. If we lived here , I swear we would eat here everyday I’m sure ! 😋Where else can you have a complete meal- with drink and bread for only $7.99?! I’m already looking forward to eating here next beach trip! A+++ all the way!! This place has it all- cleanliness, friendly and attentive staff and yummiest food you’ll ever have ! 👏🏼👏🏼

This is always a great go to choice when no one can decide what they want. It's laid back, pure southern atmosphere is welcoming and there a little bit of everything on the menu. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, whichever you're in the mood for. Service is good and friendly, but just like everywhere these days, they don't have enough people and so it takes a little longer. But if you pick the right time you can get in without much of a wait and most everyone can find something on the menu that they'll like. Breakfast is my personal favorite. 🙂

Excellent food and still at a decent price! I have to admit, a lot of restaurants have started clubbing customers over the head with a ridiculous number of options and types of cuisine, catering to every nuanced dietary restriction and taste out there; talk about analysis paralysis. Sawmill doesn't do that - they simply serve great food and treat you to a classic, casual sit-down dining experience. If I am looking for low-calorie food, I'll pick the low calorie food on the menu, and that's exactly what I did while I was visiting the first time. I came back again to try some less healthy stuff - amazing. The service is great and the atmosphere is lively enough. I understand why Sawmill has been in business so long. Here's to another 25 years! :)

This place has the best home cooking in town!!! The prices are great here too!! I usually get their ribeye steak sandwich(which is the best sandwich ever), but last time I was in a hurry so I got one of their "lunch specials", it was out to the table in less than 10 minutes, and it's just southern cooking perfection!!

I vacationed at kure beach for 2 weeks. I came here 5 times on my 2 week vacation. Very good food and service. The 4th time I came was breakfast and yes we did sit for about a hour and a half before my food was here. But they kept our drinks refilled and they were very busy so we had patients, which most people don't. Very good food at reasonable prices would absolutely recommend.
