Truly the best burger in Wilmington, maybe the whole state! Absolutely love the jalapeno pimento cheese on the trailer park burger! The garlic fries are a perfect compliment to the burgers as well. The fried okra is delicious, true southern comfort food!
If I had a vibe, it would be this place. I am not a fancy man. I don't enjoy pig jowl with pate. I enjoy something I would make myself. I cannot make the incredible food of this place, but I would like to. Relaxed, kind, and clean. Only way it could be better is draft beer. So glad we came here.
Hands down the best burger I've ever had. The Trailer Park Burger has literally changed my life. Over the past 15 years I have easily devoured over 300 different burgers from various restaurants and have never felt the way I did 15 minutes ago. It was like my eyes had finally opened and I was taken to another reality for the 10 short minutes I had with this 8th wonder of the world. This was an emotional, physical, and truly spiritual experience. I was out of body from the time I bit into this forbidden fruit until the time I got home. I don't even remember getting in the car, let alone how I got into my apartment. If you are ready to ingest the greatest culinary masterpiece our world has ever seen, then bring a friend. You may fall into a trance that leaves you unable to leave your seat. Be warned burger enthusiasts, this one is not for the faint of heart.
Authentic burgers that are huge and juicy. Lots of toppings to choose from. How can you go wrong with a fried bologna sandwich. The thickest slice I have had in a long time and it was great. Onions, mayo and pickles finished it off. This cheat day was well worth it. Now to go walk a few miles.....lol.
Enjoyed a mini burger(1/4 lb) which was perfect. House made chips were crisp and delicious.

I lost something very special to me here & a customer helped us look for it. The staff is pleasant & professional. The tables, floors, bathroom & dishware are clean ✅️ The place has cute decor in what looks like a shipping container. We see these everywhere. The food is so, so yummy. We even brought our family who was in town & they loved it too. Chef's 💋
This place is off the beating path of the beach front, but let me tell you..... If you shy away from this place because of that you are cheating yourself. Could possibly be the very best burger I've EVER had! And come hungry cause the burgers are huge! Cajun fries and garlic aioli..... You'll thank me later!! Service is perfect and the atmosphere is great. We will be back!
A friend asked me if I have been to Winnie's, I said "Wendy's". She said "No, Winnie's...and gave me that look of "Ugh". So we made a date for twelve people. We arrived for our reservation at 11:00 AM. The wait staff was amazing and quickly took our order. I have to say Winnie's is another Wilmington, NC hidden gem. The burgers are probably the best in town, the atmosphere is amazing! All in all, we had a great experience. It gets crowded quickly, so pack your patience and be prepared for a great experience! I will definitely go again!
Very good burger and decent fish and chips. French fries were cold so they were chewy.
I can see why they get high ratings. However, I just don't like my burger well done, and I'd prefer 2 slices of cheese. Other than that, it was still good. Flavors were good, too. They didn't serve a lot of fries with it, either. I think they may have been just regular frozen fries.
I placed my order online and accidentally chose the wrong side item. The staff was so nice and corrected my order without giving me the up charge. Their burgers should be ready the best burgers in wilmington. If you're thinking about going stop thinking and just go.
