The owners and staff are always friendly and the food is amazing. They have great vegetarian options and that cappuccino muffin is the best muffin I have ever eaten in my life!!!
Wonderful inviting staff, amazingly delicious food, even if you're not hungry i would recommend the deserts an ice cream ,just to watch the sunset on the boardwalk along the river, you will thank me later!!
The staff was super friendly. The place was very clean. The coffee selections were decent for a small cafe and it was very tasty. I got a caramel mocha and it wasn't overly sweet which was nice. They do have coconut and almond milk if you are dairy sensitive. The food was all spectacular. Our table ordered french toast, one of the breakfast egg plates, and the spicy chicken sandwich (special) it was all well cooked. Fries and chicken were crunchy 😊 and the chicken was still moist.
Was looking for an out of the way coffee house or cafe that had charm and good service. I believe I found it here. Reminds me of cafe's that I have been to in Carlsbad,CA or San Diego. Service was very good and the food was great. The French toast was definitely worth the hour drive from Topsail beach. Staff was outstanding and kept the place clean. They have out door seating and is situated right next to the river for some really good views. Only wish they had this up here in Onslow county.

Wonderful gem in the Riverlights community. I love the cafe, the owner, and staff. They put their heart into what they do and it shows. I prefer to support small locally owned businesses and will spend a few extra dollars to do so. Everything on the menu is worth a try, and all ingredients used are fresh and of great quality. Delicious unique dishes. The coffee and baked goods are also fantastic, and my kids love the ice cream there too.
On another note, I’d also like to thank this cafe for being kind to my father in his last years of life. This was his favorite spot in Riverlights that he frequented until his sudden passing in 2018. They all made him feel like family when he had already lost much of his own in a short amount of time. If passing through have a seat outside and enjoy his palm plants out front. (I could not transport them to my home in SC so the owner offered to take care of and keep them at the cafe in honor of my Dad. It means the world to me, and I know it would to him as well)
So thank you, Magnolia, for the great food, atmosphere, and for all you do for the community. See you again soon!
Stopped here for a quick lunch and it was great! The cafe has a nice interior and is located right next to a boardwalk/park nearby.
The menu is not huge and mostly has sandwiches, hot dogs, waffles, and burgers and everything tasted fantastic. They also have some nice desserts.
Our order took only a few mins and our server was very friendly. Great value for the price and we’d definitely recommend this place.
We love this restaurant! The staff are so friendly and the food is amazing. This is our favorite place to have lunch. You really can’t go wring with anything you order. We regularly order the spicy chicken sandwich and cheese steak. The beer cheese is insanity good. They also have fresh deserts and coffee. The cheesecake, shortcake, lemon cupcake, cinnamon roll, red velvet cake are all so good, you’d think you were at a cakery. Thank you for having awesome food and an amazing staff!
Great food and a great family! Love the food everytime we go. Had the spicy fried chicken sandwich today and it was awesome. I try something new each time I go and have never been disappointed. Run by a military family and they offer a military discount...so make sure to ask if applicable!They also opened up the restaurant to serve first responders during the hurricane aftermath. Do yourself a favor and check it out. It will be worthwhile!
First time visit, staff was kind and explained menu options. We ordered 2 breakfast platters and in less than 5 minutes our food was on the table. Coffee was delicious! Will definitely be back
Great place to grab a bite to eat and hang out for awhile! Steps away from the river, very well maintained and super friendly owner and staff! Lots to choose from on the menu with a few awesome vegan selections. The food is great and everyone is so friendly, my wife and I really enjoy it here!

Came here for breakfast with my wife and son it was delicious! The freshly baked cinnamon roll and chicken and waffles were amazing! Also the Omelette was great! Highly recommend! This will be our go to spot for food!
