Angry Tofu

I am so happy to have found this place. The food here tastes so delicious. Chapche (Japchae) is one of my favorite Korean dishes and this is very comparable to a home cooked meal. The side dishes are a nice addition to the meal. There are many different varieties between sweet, tangy and spicy. Everything was prepared in a reasonable amount of time and the quality of service was great also. Definitely worth checking out.

What a find in such an unexpected town! I didn't expect to find this amazing Korean restaurant in the middle of CT. Their spicy pork is by far the best I've ever had. that smoky flavor is just awesome. I don't know who the chef is but he/she knows how to play with the fire. I also had stews, Korean-Chinese black noodle, Tangsuyuk and etc. All tasted good. Highly recommend this place for anyone who wants yummy Korean.

This place is the closest I can ever get to my favorite place in IL with their Soon tofu soup. Their spicy level is up there, I love it! Everything was amazing. Their spiciest sauce was so tasty but too spicy for my wife (not a bad thing at all). An old Korean friend of mine told me, “You know it’s a good place when their side dishes are delicious.”

Food was fine. Only reason I'm giving this place 1 star is because of the staff there tonight. My boyfriend and I went for dinner, got there a little before 8pm. Place closes at 9pm, which we knew hence why we already knew what we wanted to order. We finished our food with 13 minutes to spare which we used for getting our check and finishing the big Sapporo we ordered. While doing this, I could hear the staff, and who I'm assuming to be an owner? Complaining about us and the family next to us "being rude for still being there when they close at 9." I could hear them within earshot, yet chose to calmly finish my beer that we Paid For, and leave. We spent only a bit over 50$ for a simple meal, which is why I'm guessing the family next to us spent well over 100$ for all of their food, we had 13 minutes, there is no reason for staff to be this unprofessional towards us. Never again. I'd rather go to Seoul BBQ by Westfarms Mall. Train your staff better.

Very friendly staff that all spoke English very clearly. Very Very fresh food served piping hot! Free starters (some kimchi, scrambled eggs, vegetables and a few other little bowls) Fried dumplings are amazing and the bolgogi was fantastic. I definitely reccomended the pork if you like some spice. Almost gave 4 stars instead of 5 because we were expecting lunch portions and prices since we went in at noon (on a Sunday.) We were suprised how large the portions were and then again suprised by the bill since each meal was roughly twice the cost we were expecting. To be fair it was was on the menu in bold print that all prices and portions were at the dinner rate on weekends.... but neither my wife or I noticed it. Clean eating area and cozy environment and rest room was also clean.
