I hate to give bad reviews, in fact I never post them. But in this case something had to be said. My boyfriend and I wanted to order take out and called the restaurant, the man on the other side of the phone asked us to hold we politely said okay. 12 minutes passed while still on the phone. We could hear workers chatting in the background. Now too late to order anything, we’ll take our business elsewhere. I’m sure they’re food and service is great, guess I’ll never find out considering this event.

Amazing seafood dinner especially the dive scallops. Friendly service and the food took longer but you can see and taste the difference in quality. For appetizers the bruschetta was the best I ever had. The Maine oysters on the half shell was also delicious and fresh. The colossal shrimp is indeed colossal. Definitely check it out.

Food was good however we had some issues. My wife and I got roasted veggies with our meals. My veggies were roasted (Nice brown marks on the carrots), my wife's veggies were not roasted and we're ice cold from the fridge and put on her plate. Someone wasn't paying attention in the kitchen apparently. Not what you expect when your paying top dollar for your meal.

Probably not coming back. They had a worker no show, which is unfortunate and hard to stop, I'll give them that. But, I wasn't given good expectations for time and waited over 60 minutes for food which made me late to a date afterwards. Noone came to check on me or tell me updates. I wasn't even given a water while waiting. I'm pretty easy going but this made me really sad. I hope they find more reliable help but people need to know to have low expectations for waiting here. I think if I had been given some apologizing discount it may have evened it out, but this wasn't even attempted either.

Yet another great meal at one of the best restaurants in the area. Just when I think I have eaten lobster every way possible, I discover the lobster cutlet! What a delicious entree! The sauce was spot on to accompany the crispy coating on the pounded lobster tail. The service is always too notch, the ambiance very upscale rustic Maine, and the Moscow mules refreshing. I tried the creme brulee for dessert and it was as good as anything I could make at home (I do consider myself a bit of an expert making this particular dish! ) with our fresh eggs from from our backyard chickens. 18 Below is other for that special occasion...or really any time you want a five star meal served elegantly and made from fresh local ingredients.
