Buen Apetito

Bomb food. Forming a proper opinion on any Mexican restaurant starts with the chips and salsa & I was certainly not disappointed. They start with their mild salsa but if you ask nicely they'll bring out a couple of flavorful varieties that leave your mouth tingling with happiness! I've had lunch/dinner here on a couple of occasions and each dish was very delicious. So far I've had the pleasure of trying their chicken chimis, chili relleno, chicken taco, and beef enchiladas. My favorite was the chicken chimis - I can't resist the fried goodness.

I had an amazing lunch and dessert here! When I entered I was greeted and brought to a table right away. Chips and two types of salsa were already waiting on me. I liked the green salsa quite a bit, the red salsa not so much, but I did finish both. For my main dish I had a tostada with chorizo. It came quickly and I added some hot sauce (because that’s what I do), avocado, and sour cream. It was a real treat. My server, who was awesome and attentive, recommended desert so I tried the fried apple and walnut thing - I’m so sorry I cannot remember the name - but it was fantastic. I will be back during my next pass through town!

My family had an extremely bad experience lastTuesday. We used to love Buen. We have been regular weekly customers for probably five years. Take out everyTuesday even through the pandemic. But last Tuesday we got rancid chicken in our Floutas and nachos. I immediately got food poisoning. Within 30 minutes. My wifesmelled my food and it was horrible and smelled rancid. I had problems for four days following that experience. Luckily the kids only had a bite before my wife noticed and smelled ththe air bad food so they were ok. We are super bummed. We loved buen. But now I never want to go back. So bad.
