While I do not normally write reviews, I wanted to take some time to note the fantastic service and attention that I received at the Brass Monkey. I went to the bar in the evening and order some food that was made slightly wrong. Following this small mistake, the management was quick to apologize and fix the mistake. Management and the Owner went out of their way to make sure the rest of my experience at the bar was amazing. Can't thank them enough for a great night out!
Brass monkey is a great downtown DC bar with a solid dance floor(s). I spent my 21st birthday here with a big group and lot of variety at that. The scene is great when you have friends of all ages , you can chill on the rooftop be in the mix with karaoke and upstairs getting with the get down on the dance floor. Jumbo slice is seconds away and what's better that pizza and booze. I can't think of much! Bartenders are nice djs are fun parking garage is close by and not too expensive. You won't regret a night a brass monkey, but then again you might ;) !!
One of the best I've ever been to it actually said on the site it had a roof bar I didn't believe it because there's a enclosed space that didn't have an open sky and I thought that was it. But upon going to the bathroom I realize to go to the rooftop bar you have to go up 3 flights of stairs but it's amazing. Best service I've ever had at a bar also. I left a tip and for the first time it was out of amazement and not out of social guilt. We were in DC one night and this bar made it amazing. I will be returning next year. There is karaoke downstairs and dancing on the first floor and on the second it's a normal bar scene and on the third another nice bar and fourth, bam roof bar that is amazing. 5 stars well deserved
This place has balconies, roof top terrace, 4 split levels, karaoke, big dance floor, variety choice of music to dance to,and a number of bars. No cover charge to enter. Excellent nightlife spot in the heart of Adams Morgan
One of the coolest clubs in DC, the building is like a maze with tons of different rooms, each with their own bars and dance floor playing different types of music for every persons taste. It gets crowded late but there's always room to dance!
There were 4 floors and there was everything from kareoke to dance music and we had a blast. Not too crowded either.
The drinks were cheap, the people were nice, the bartenders were nicer but I'm not a karaoke type of guy!
Fun late night spot. Karaoke in the basement.
Went for a friend's birthday. I will be back
