A hidden gem 💎. The service was impeccable. Clean place with great music and vibes. The jerk chicken was amazingly delicious 🤤. I will definitely come back!

Awesome rooftop with carribean vibes and food. The food and drinks were amazing! I had the tostones nachos with shrimp and a cocktail. Delicious! Bartenders were on point and checked in regularly. Set on busy main street so parking is a challenge. Must stop at spot on visit to DC.

Nice vibes and good music. The portions sizes are huge. Each plate could’ve been shared for two people.

Nice service, ambiance, Nigerian music, jerk chicken could have been more juicy. Service was great. Tim treated us well. I’ll be back with friends.

Ask for Tim!!!!! Great service, great personality, very attentive! The food was delicious and I’m very closed minded when it comes to trying new things. We tried the bowl of soup and ordered popcorn shrimp on the side. Went back the next morning for brunch and the waffles, eggs and bottomless mimosas are to live for. We’ll definitely be stopping back by when in town. Great ambiance, great music, great crowd.

The food is DELICIOUS!
The service is hit and miss. Last time I was there they were out of snapper and crab cakes. The time before that the bartender downstairs ignored me for like 10 minutes, flirted with my date, and slammed my drink down on the bar when she gave it to me.

Brunch on rooftop open tent with tabletop heating. Still a bit cold but safe! Great food, seafood omelette great, steak and eggs good, breakfast burger and fries great. Service slow.

I enjoyed a wonderful birthday dinner at this restaurant! The staff members are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We almost dined inside until my friend made the suggestion to eat on the rooftop. It was everything! They have these misty fans that kept it cool and added to the already festive ambiance. The food was amazing. The drinks were great. It’s definitely a vibe. I highly recommend this restaurant. Can’t wait to visit again!!

Dishes were hit or miss. The Conch Fritters were borderline burnt, the Cubano was so-so. The Toston Nachos were tasty, but a little misleading (Nachos with a few plantain chips-not tostones). The Shrimp Mofongo was very good as well as the Surf n Turf Burger (cooked perfectly). The service was EXCELLENT, and actually is what brought the rating up. Very friendly, professional & attentive.

So my wife was dogsitting down here in Eastern Market, so we decided to come by. The dining room was deserted BUT that is not indicative of the restaurant. It's not crazy obvious from the ground, but they have a cool rooftop bar that was jumping.
Our server was great, attentive but not smothering, extremely pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu.
My partner got shrimp (steamed, but chilled is also an option) and the fish tacos (which come with a salad or fries - she loved the honey/lime dressing) and I had the hot wings and the Cuban. She liked all of her food and I liked my wings. The only knock on this place was the Cuban. I'm from Tampa and I can be a bit snobby about Cuban sandwiches, so maybe I'm being overly critical, but I felt like it needed more mustard, the shredded pork was the wrong flavor/consistency, the ham was a bit too thick, and the bread smelled/tasted a bit like burnt oil.
My partner also got (and loved) the dark and stormy, which was also pretty reasonably priced.
Overall, the vibe was cool, the rooftop was fun, the service was great. I'll definitely be back, I just won't get the Cuban.
