Sabydee is great! Their food is delicious, and you can’t help but love the nice lady who works the register. They’re very diligent about COVID safety precautions, and have an outdoor window pickup you can use. I highly recommend their Larb!

It was freezing in Washington D.C, we’re looking for a place to eat lunch we accidentally found it. And the food was sooooo great, the chef/attendant/owner was so nice and wait time is not long. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

My thai friend took me here. The best fried rice. I can’t remember the names of food, but they have a very nice handmade menu with all the pictures

This place was delicious. Felt like home cooked food. Service was great and quick. These items were recommended to us. They were items numbers 44 and 45.

Loooved how authentic, and cozy this place is! They have a great variety of options on the menu. I got drunken noodles, and it was okay... a bit bland and tasted kind of weird with the cabbage, but my bf said his dish was really good so maybe I just need to try something else. I would still recommend going here

Incredible food. Young Peppercorn was unlike any other dish I've had before. Service was stellar. Will be back very soon.

Based on the food alone this place deserves 5 stars. But when you add in the service - you gonna need more stars. My girlfriend and I walked in after a day of bear hunting at the local zoo and got more than we bargained for. The restaurant owner engaged us in great conversation and even taught us some Laotian. It felt like being home. Get number 44, you won’t be sorry!

I LOVE this place! My friend and I walked into this place not knowing what to expect. The restaurant owner is a delightful lady! Not only was everything she cooked delicious and home made, but she also engaged us in a fantastic conversation about her article on Washington Post, stories about Laos and taught us phrases in her native language. Nowhere do you get this hospitality and home cooked meal! Reminded me of my mother . Kob Chai Lai Lai (thank you) :)

Nam Kao is as good as it is in Luang Prabang. With all of the fancy Laotian places popping up in DC, this is the real deal for home-cooked food. Friendly service and a great hole-in-the-wall atmosphere (also great for take-out!).
