A modern Mexican joint right off Main. At a lunch meal, the staff sat us promptly and continued to be attentive through the meal. I enjoyed the tacos al pastor plate, which came with a small cup of beans and rice. The pork was fantastically tender, but I feel that the flavor could have used more intensity. Overall I enjoyed the visit.

Mexican food!!! YUMM!! everything was so good, inside was very clean + including the bathroom, very cute decor. Affordable drinks in DC is always a plus. Server was very nice & very attentive to our table. Shrimp Quesadilla taste extremely fresh..and came out piping hot. Added jalapeño and it topped it off! Highly recommend this meal

Had a really nice experience at Él Bebe last night for dinner. My wife and I went for a night out just on a whim. We had no problem getting a table (especially for a busy Saturday night) but we did have to wait for a bit before our server came over. She was very nice and took our drink and appetizer order quickly after she did come over. The food and drinks were really good. We ordered the spicy margarita and it had a nice subtle kick to it. The guacamole was good with a nice hint of lime to it. Our meals were great. I ordered the birria tacos and they were definitely top five of the places I’ve had them. The shells were fried to perfection and the meat was tender and flavorful. My wife had the chicken enchiladas and couldn’t finish them because the portion was so big. Definitely no complaints about our meals. My only complaint is the price for what you get. We paid almost $20 for the tacos and most places will typically charge $4-$5 less, while also being a little bit bigger. Also, $16 for a margarita seems a little steep even for DC. Not a deal breaker but definitely could have been a little less.

And I have a perfect place for a while pick up my order. Absolutely great place to eat. The hostess quickly seated us although I would recommend reservations if you think of it ahead of time. The staff were attentive. Our water glasses were kept cold and full. The Chicken fajita was a good size and flavorful. The Chicken Tinga burrito is HUGE. So good. Brought home more than half of it. Highly recommend for a nice enjoyable night out.

Great food but be warned, the chips have a very potent spice on them which makes them hot, other than that the food is excellent and if I could I would go here again.

Came in yesterday for a quick bite to eat with my best friend. We enjoyed bottomless mimosas and separate entrees. I had the carne Asada burrito (my absolute favorite) and my friend had the shrimp fajitas with green peppers. Love this place!

I literally love this place. I can come here everyday. My go to is the chicken fajitas but everything is pretty delicious to me. Never failed me yet and i’ve went numerous times. Always a calm vibe and never too much. Also their frozen margaritas are delicious ,as well as their regular drinks.

I love this place. Love. It. Every experience with food and service is top notch. My reviews show I'm not a 5-star rater but El Bebe deserves it. My photo is of sangria which isn't on the menu but I asked and they made me. Came two weeks with seven people, great. Came today with nine people, great. Recommendation for three people... Order different tacos and share, you won't be disappointed.

El Bebe never disappoints. Whether your going for a quick bite or outing with friends. Food, drinks, and, service all 10/10. I recommend the queso w/chips and shrimp tacos. So good!!!

This is a fantastic location to grab a bite to eat with a Mexican flare, very close to Nationals Stadium. The tacos and burrito my husband and I ordered were very flavorful. The drinks were delicious and the staff very friendly and attentive. They have local sports on the televisions over the bar as well. Thanks for a great experience! :-)

Recommended by some girlfriends. I love Mexican style food. My bestie and I visited on a Sunday (typically free parking on Sundays). We lucked up and found a parking space about 40 feet from the restaurant door. When we arrive around 4:00 the venue was relatively empty. When we left at 5:00 pm, there were tons of more people seated. Food/Server/Mood The menu isn’t extensive as other places. I ordered nachos and planned to order a burrito. Fortunately, my server was fantastic and didn’t put the burrito order in because she’s aware the nachos are a beast. And she was on point from beginning to end. I could barely finish the nachos and I shared them with my bestie. They were out of this world delicious. They skimp on nothing with these nachos. We requested extra sour cream, guacamole and chips on the side. The nachos are homemade and they get soggy quick. These are prolly my second favorite nachos, second to Bus Boys and Poets. I wouldn’t have stopped eating but I was stuffed between the nachos and my grande margarita - passion fruit, so good. The music had us dancing the whole time. It was an Ariana Grande playlist that had old and new school hits that made the mood so festive, at least for us. My review is limited as well because I’m a light weight and couldn’t make it past the appetizers to enjoy any entrees. However, I have nothing but positive things to say except the menu is limited but don’t that deter you from visiting. Bonus: Across the street both to the right and the left are signage for the Yards if you like to take pictures as a tourist or a local, visiting within your own back yard. Walking through Navy yard and decided to stop by this location cuz I never been. They were short staff and crazy booked but the gentleman was able to squeeze my wife and I into a table (I am appreciative of that). Anyway we got seated and immediately or what cups of water and asked about our drink options. We ordered some margaritas Frozen and regular, chips queso and salsa. I had the Taco trio shimp and my wife had the quesadilla chicken. Food was amazing service was amazing prices were reasonable. Make sure you make a reservation u will be back soon.

This place is always such a great go to spot. I absolutely love the shrimp tacos they are delicious! The staff is always so kind and the food came out extremely quick. The drinks were amazing and the ambience is always great. It’s a little bit pricey but it’s definitely worth it! This place is great!

I had quite a lovey experience here. Service was friendly and prompt enough. The margarita was amazing. Get the Bebe rim instead of salt! There was a fun selection of dips and tacos that we thoroughly enjoyed. The decor was modern and upscale. I thought the prices were also fair. I will definitely be back!

Now I very rarely leave a review on places I visit. However…..I have never had Mexican food on the level that I had this evening! We started off with street corn which came in less than 5 mins. Absolutely delicious! Next we had chicken quesadillas and the crispy shrimp tacos. Nothing was left on our plates ! Next we had not one but two orders of the churro donuts with the Mexican chocolates! Jordan was our server and Miguel was the bartender! They provided excellent customer service. Definitely will be back !
