2nd Diners, Drive ins and Dives restaurant for the weekend and OMG!!! That pastrami poblano sandwich was all that and then some!!! The pastami here is comparable to, if not better than Katz Deli.

Probably the best neighborhood bar the in Mt. Vernon Triangle area. The quality and variety of the menu options are great and are freshened up from time to time. The rotating beer selection is decent too. I've always been able to get a seat at the bar and the service has always been friendly.

CR Burger is one the best I've had in the District!!!...and I eat a lot of burgers!!! 😅 The tomato salad is a must try! You can tell that lots of love and care goes into the food. Can't wait to come back again! Hats off to David and crew!!! 👏😊🎉 A+++++

I'm obsessed with bacon and cheese fries and these are, by far, the best. I went two days in a row. The first day the service was great and I recieved my food quickly, the second day was the exact opposite. On the first day the fries were piping hot and crunchy. Whereas the following day they were soggy and greasy. Different cook, maybe. All said, I'll definitely go back.

The best customer service I have ever received in DC while producing high quality food with affordable prices. We walked in after brunch hours, and they immediately tried to accommodate us and gave us a tour of the menu. Our waitress went above and beyond giving samples and food customizations. The food was incredible. Pictured is a sample cigar appetizer for $8. I got a Ruben for $15 and a beer for $8.

Cool place in the heart of Washington DC. Previously seen on diners, drive ins and dives it piqued my interest. I had what was had on the show and I was not disappointed. Excellent price point for the location and the service I had by Ranona was excellent.

The Carving Room is located in an area without many options outside of chains. They have generous portions and a good burger. Service is fast and helpful. You could be in and out in 30 Minutes.

I ordered the Reuben here it was pretty good my kids Burger was burnt they did bring another bun out but it was still brought to the table burnt I'm going to show that picture to other than that the waiters and waitresses are really really slow especially if you eat outside we ate outside cuz it was so beautiful that night other than that I think they just have to do a better job and their service but the food is excellent

Words cannot describe how good everything is! The house made pastrami, kraut, pickles..... Everything! I highly recommend the Ruben and steak and cheese. The meat is so tender and nuanced. Service was FANTASTIC and enthusiastic. That carries over to the food... You can taste the love and passion in every handcrafted bite.
Truly a treat and the highlight of our day trip to DC.

Even though it was on diners, drive-ins and dives, I feel like most people in DC have never heard of it. It gets busy, but not to an obnoxious level. Great bartenders. The subs are outstanding. Some of the most flavorful sandwiches I've had in the city. Go to place if I'm craving a meatball or pastrami sub.

The food was good and fresh, the service was great! We ordered custom burgers medium rare. Burger had good flavor; however, a little salty. The eggplant hummus was fantastic! The pastrami sandwich was good, did not have Swiss cheese, a little on the small side, but good. Matzoball soup was on point!! Glad we tried this place!

Now this is a good place to eat! Excellent service, ask for Angel. He was well informed about the menu, made super recommendations, I had the turkey burger. Not your average turkey burger, it was scrumptious as was everything else we all had. Don't miss out on this place! It is well worth the visit. Really good food, great service and super enjoyable, laid back environment. A rare find!

We sat at the bar and Kevin was the bar tender. He was great. I had the spring roll sampler and a pastrami sandwich, she had the pork sandwich. Really enjoyed the food and staff. Meat knives and beer!

Oh my goodness I am so thankful we picked this place!! I opened up my Yelp app after picking up our inauguration tickets and picked the first place I saw to walk to! We were both starving and this place was phenomenal! The atmosphere, service, food, those "cigar" egg rolls! Mmm wish we didn't live three hours away! Definitely somewhere to recommend!

I think Guy Fieri over exaggerated on how good this place is. My first thought when I sat down at the bar was why do they not have tap handles on their tap beers so one would know what's on tap?
As for the food, the Chorizo Cigars I could've done without, overlooked and the Rueben, well it had the flavor one would look for and want in a Rueben except the toast was either rock hard or soggy.
All in all this was a sad stop for lunch.

Fabulous atmosphere, creatively flavored menu items, and the burgers made out of brisket did not disappoint at all. I recommend the carrot salad as an appetizer, wonderfully seasoned with aromatics.

Visiting from South FL and googled local restaurant in DC so we decided on Carving Room. Excellent choice! Great service, delicious sandwiches and dessert! Really emjoyed the craft beers as well as the environment of the restaurant. Would definitely recommend!

Definitely use Metro to get there! I regretted driving into DC. I was there to celebrate a friend's 600th visit to Triple D locations. The owners and staff went out of their way to decorate an area for us and come congratulate him. We all had a variety of the sandwiches and everybody had nothing but good feedback. If you like spicy food, get the Triple D featured item: Pastrami Poblano on Ciabatta. YUMMY!
