Words cannot describe how good everything is! The house made pastrami, kraut, pickles..... Everything! I highly recommend the Ruben and steak and cheese. The meat is so tender and nuanced. Service was FANTASTIC and enthusiastic. That carries over to the food... You can taste the love and passion in every handcrafted bite.
Truly a treat and the highlight of our day trip to DC.

2nd Diners, Drive ins and Dives restaurant for the weekend and OMG!!! That pastrami poblano sandwich was all that and then some!!! The pastami here is comparable to, if not better than Katz Deli.

CR Burger is one the best I've had in the District!!!...and I eat a lot of burgers!!! 😅 The tomato salad is a must try! You can tell that lots of love and care goes into the food. Can't wait to come back again! Hats off to David and crew!!! 👏😊🎉 A+++++

Even though it was on diners, drive-ins and dives, I feel like most people in DC have never heard of it. It gets busy, but not to an obnoxious level. Great bartenders. The subs are outstanding. Some of the most flavorful sandwiches I've had in the city. Go to place if I'm craving a meatball or pastrami sub.

Cool place in the heart of Washington DC. Previously seen on diners, drive ins and dives it piqued my interest. I had what was had on the show and I was not disappointed. Excellent price point for the location and the service I had by Ranona was excellent.

The food was good and fresh, the service was great! We ordered custom burgers medium rare. Burger had good flavor; however, a little salty. The eggplant hummus was fantastic! The pastrami sandwich was good, did not have Swiss cheese, a little on the small side, but good. Matzoball soup was on point!! Glad we tried this place!

I'm obsessed with bacon and cheese fries and these are, by far, the best. I went two days in a row. The first day the service was great and I recieved my food quickly, the second day was the exact opposite. On the first day the fries were piping hot and crunchy. Whereas the following day they were soggy and greasy. Different cook, maybe. All said, I'll definitely go back.

The best customer service I have ever received in DC while producing high quality food with affordable prices. We walked in after brunch hours, and they immediately tried to accommodate us and gave us a tour of the menu. Our waitress went above and beyond giving samples and food customizations. The food was incredible. Pictured is a sample cigar appetizer for $8. I got a Ruben for $15 and a beer for $8.
