We typically love National for the coneys and hanis, but I was really craving breakfast and got their french toast with strawberries. It was so good, amazing comfort food! But most of all I love the servers and their hospitality. You always feel welcomed and taken care of. It truly feels like a local joint where you feel at home.
Always fantastic, friendly service when I go here, and the food is great for the price. I try to stop here every time I'm in town.

If you don't like food with any spice, this is your place. Waitress actually said they don't have salsa.

Saturday April 23 I was in the area running a bunch of errands and stopped in for an early lunch. I was waited on by Eliza (I believe that was her name). She was very thoughtful, kind, prompt and thorough with a high level of attention to detail. Towards the end of my meal she let me know about the Coney Bucks rewards program and was able to get me signed up. I appreciated her letting me know about this as well as her exemplary customer service. I will definitely be back when I am in the area.
As a tourist, I enjoyed this experience. They are only local so you can't get anywhere. Fun, nice, clean. You can sit down and have a waitress for a comparable price of a fast food place. SO WORTH IT! As for taste... Good. I'm from Texas and it was tasty! I'm not going to say this is the best hot dog I have ever had but a fun INEXPENSIVE place to eat but filling and good! Nice to take kids.
Food is always reasonably priced and portions are good. The food is very good this is my favorite Coney Island and they have so many options to choose from. Also, they have healthy alternative meals which I like. So I highly recommend you go check them out
