We absolutely love this place! Tennessee Jed's is a family affair, and the love is evident every time we go there. The food is always good. A combination plate is always the way to go. 2-3 meats for 2-3 people, and the big platter for 4 or more. The Feast is just that; an amazing array of their BBQ meats, plus 4 of their amazing sides, served family style. We love bringing friends here to share a meal. The craft beer list is excellent, and changes frequently. The seating capacity is low, as is the music, which makes for a wonderfully cozy experience where you can sit back and relax in good company.

Julie was wonderful! The ribs were good, the brisket was not great. Not much flavor. The sauces were good the pork and brisket nachos were good! Collards and corn bread was good. I would like more smoke flavor personally. Ribs are the most subjective. Everyone comes with there ultimate in there head. I’d go back fir the ribs and nachos!:)

The place was great, food was delicious, service awesome, ambience as far as decor was not the problem. The music needs to change....something more upbeat perhaps that makes me want to stay and have another beer or two. Other than that, great local spot.

Very good food, great service, terrific selection of beer and cider. Plenty of tables, really cute decorations. Would definitely come back here again.

I would give it 4 or 5 stars, wife 3 or less. Owners very hands on. My ribs were fall-off the bone tasty. Brisket, while a little dry becomes better with the sauces provided. I think proper barbecue brisket is always a little dry and needs sauces. My wife felt the dryness was a negative. I tried explaining that barbecue is cooked differently than regular brisket. My Mac and cheese side was slightly better than average. Portions could be larger. Great selection of beers and ales

Finally ate here after driving past it for years and it is some of the best BBQ I've ever had. They make their own BBQ sauces vs. adding too much to the meats. Angus brisket was killer. South Carolina pulled pork and the ribs were delicious along with all their homemade sides. Our waitress/owner Julie was super friendly and made our first time there one to remember. Can't wait to go back!

Ordered "Jed's Combo Feast" as recommended by the owner for a backyard family gathering. We had a taste of everything and it was all great! Nothing was smothered in sauce and the side orders were just as tasty. It will be an annual food event for my family.

There are 2 ways to judge a restaurant: By its 'steak or sizzle ad this place is all steak as the sizzle is not so much. I was hankering for some BBQ but didn't want to drive to Massapequa. OK, the place has a limited menu and that's fine by me. It means they can concentrate their efforts on doing things right. Ever order nachos and you get a pile of chips covered in chili? Different here, the chili was interspersed and mixed with all the chips! Nice. I had 1/2 rack with shrimp while Julie had 1/2 rack of St Lluis ribs. All the ribs were tasty and fall off the bone--as you would expect. I recommend the mac and cheese and beans for sides, btw. It was our first time there but not our last.

Ordered 2 full racks of ribs sweet BBQ on the side, mashed potatoes' and baked beans. The ribs were smoked and I usually hate smoked meats but these were very good. The sweet BBQ was a little sweeter than I imagined but complimented the ribs. Mashed potatoes and baked beans tasted like they were homemade. I enjoyed the food. Glad I tried this place out.

We ordered dinner tonight from Jed’s. The family is amazing, the food is INCREDIBLE and boy, do they pack it well. We have ordered from other places and the food is soggy by the time you get home. Not here! The ribs, fried shrimp, chicken salad sandwich and sides all traveled very well - especially the French fries, which was impressive. The food was hot, fresh and extremely tasty! The ribs were fall-off-the-bone sensational and the fried shrimp couldn’t be any larger! Cheers to the staff for staying open, safe & serving the community through these difficult times. Stay healthy, Tennessee Jeds. True angels 😇
