Went here on our girls weekend and very happy with the food and service. We ate on the patio where we could chat without disturbing others around us.
From my experience here the service was good, but the kitchen is a little slow. I totally get that it's not the server's fault if the kitchen is behind. Unfortunately some of the other reviews on here automatically equate slow kitchen equals slow service, however I understand its out of the servers control. We were greeted right away by our server and she was very professional even asking us would it be alright to take dirty plates away through the course of our meal. The only one real issue I have is the food is overpriced. I mean $21 for 2 chicken tacos and fries. They were good but just a fair warning to others.. whatever seasoning they add to the chicken and fries is very spicy.
We have dined at Brazos Bar & Bistro numerous times on our trips to Waco and everything on the menu is delicious. The presentation of the plate is always on point and the staff is very professional. They also make great suggestions based on personal preferences!
Clean and morderne place to take a drink on the terrasse. Maybe a little expensive, we paid around 16$ to have 2 small can of beer from the local brewer. So, with the tip this is was arount 19$… good service and the we get beer in the the cold glass! Love that.
We had lunch on a Saturday here. Great quiet and calm atmosphere. The food was average considering price. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
I took my wife and son out for her birthday. We ate outside as the weather was pleasant. Some of the patio furniture is a little lungey for eating but great for sitting back and relaxing with a drink. The only improvement would be to do something with the blank wall in the back, maybe a mural. The drink selections was nice, my wife loved the Steel Rita and the server poured my beer perfectly. The only thing missing is a selection of draft beer. We ordered food, and was warned that the double cut pork chop would take a while (it is about 2 inches thick). I had Pan seared tuna that was cooked perfectly. The chicken nachos for my son were good too. The cream Brule` was not as good as expected, the top did not have that distinctive cracking sound. From the looks of the bar they do have some nice high end liquor but I did not inquire. The bathrooms were very clan and I loved the salt hand wash. While the food is a little bit pricy, I think it is worth it. I will be eating here again.
We loved it, especially while we were there, we ended up transferring to the bar after one drink because it became available. She had definitely introduced me to a new drink though! The Mexican Martini! 🍸😍🤤
I have never had Google ask me if I wanted to update my review; however, I will say that I'm keeping the same review and stars even this many many months later. Best bartenders in town. George's should definitely take note.
Again, months later, this place still hits the spot! 🍸
Really good small restaurant located inside Hotel Indigo in Waco. Very close to Magnolia Silos. The bistro is kind of pricey but worth it. The food was delicious. The fries are unique and spicy. They do offer a kids menu! The wait staff was friendly. They offer a full bar and have TV's to watch the football game on. Great atmosphere inside this hip and modern hotel.
