Where to even start??!!! WOW!!! 🤩 The service was inviting and we were made to feel at home. The house made sauces were delicious and I left with a bottle of their Heritage ketchup. The food was all fresh AND tasty. We normally do not buy deserts when we go out to dinner, but the food was so good that we had to give it a try and are sooo glad we did! I wish we could rate this place more than five stars ✨ and we can’t wait to come back for more!

Got breakfast here and it was delicious. It was so fresh our whole family enjoyed it. The turkey bacon was so good!!! I also loved the peach sweet tea they had, it was so good! I highly recommend this place for anyone in the Waco area visiting or a local who would love a fresh meal! There’s great service! We will be back!

We were visiting our family in a suburb Dallas area. We went to Waco to visit Magnolia, and stopped in to cafe homestead after seeing it was highly rated online. Wow - this place is one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. The food was absolutely the best we’ve ever had. The last meal we had there was their chicken fried steak with a white gravy, potatoes and vegetable - I still think about that amazing delicious meal. It was a 3 hour drive to get there, and we have been several times now. Go to their flour mill and buy their cookie mix that you can take home. Also - the most incredible tasting cookies we’ve ever had! I can’t say enough about this place! We are so disappointed we can’t go more! From their main dishes, homemade sauces, iced teas, homemade desserts, salads etc. And so much of it is all homegrown - it’s the BEST!! Go - you will LOVE this place!!

FANTASTIC!!! Best breakfast I have had in a long time. They also serve local roasted coffee that was one of the best coffees I've ever had. And they're jam, which was locally made, was fantastic. So of course I had to buy the coffee beans and a jar of the jam. This is a definite recommendation for anybody who's looking for a local cuisine.
