Everything was perfect besides every pizza assembler had no gloves on while making the pizzas.
I realize it's before the pizza goes in the over but in this day and age, please wear gloves.
Otherwise pizza was great, service and atmosphere weren't exactly above and beyond but I got in, got my pizza and got out. Nothing super notable.
I’ve had bad papa John pizza experiences in my past that had me stop purchasing pizza from them for years. Thanks to this pizza restaurant on Haygood in Virginia Beach, I became a firm believer in there pizza and service. Both have been extremely great.
Whoever there owner and or boss is should be very proud of their staff. Good job to you all!
We really enjoy this Papa Johns! We order our pizza vegan, with no cheese and it is always delicious! Every single time they deliver it they make sure to say that it is vegan and that they only included vegan sauces. They also let us know when new vegan items are added to the menu. It’s just really cool that they take it so seriously! We have, time and time again, been impressed with the service here!

I used to not like this store. It served bad pizza in a bad way.
In the past year, they've gotten a *TON* better. Still spendy, but worth it.

Just darn good pizza. Not the best, but we can debate "the #1 pizza" until we all croak, and never agree on #1. It's easy top 3 IMO. Price to pizza, it's worth your money (It's worth mine, at least!)
Yeah, this store is a good one to spend your dough on (pun NOT intended, but I'm leaving it in). Give them a try, see for yourself!
They are always so friendly and helpful and patient. Their gosh always takes the delivery drivers to the wrong address, not sure why..but each time, the driver is super positive about it! We’ve also had this location handle issues really well like when I accidentally selected carry out online but meant delivery, they got it right out to us.
I ordered a large order that i needed by 12:00. The website only allowed deliveries for 1:00. Our store ordered from this papa john's every Saturday. The person on duty called me and asked if we needed it for 12:00. Thank you so much for noticing the time and calling me to make sure we got our pizza at the correct time. I applicate the amazing customer service!
Always have pizza delivered from here. It comes super fast & perfect each time! The delivery man is so nice. One time they forgot our drink & the man was back in 5 minutes & even apologized. The only thing I will say is they are a little light on the toppings but maybe some people like it that way
We've been ordering from here for a while, but it was today that really took the cake.
Today was awful for me. I miscarried with my second baby. Neither my husband nor myself had the energy or will to cook, so we decided to just order in. In the "special instructions" box, I simply wrote, "Please draw something. I'm sad." When the delivery driver came to our door, he presented us with three boxes, one with a rainbow, one with a cat, and the third with a moustache drawn on Papa John with a dinosaur on the back. Them taking the time to do that for us made me smile on the worst day of my life and gaurenteed my future business with them.
So thank you, Haygood Papa John's. Please don't stop being awesome.

It was my first time going to this location. The employees were friendly and spoke as I entered. I was assisted right away so I didn't have to wait. I'll be visiting again.
