First time here. We almost didn't dine here because it was so cold inside the restaurant and we had been saoked by rain just before coming in. Fortunately for us our waitress Jessica was amazing. She put us next to the fireplace and gave us piping hot coffee. The service was excellent and the food was perfect. Jessica recommended the tater tots and I was worried because I don't like tots.....BUT OH GAWD THESE TOTS!!! Thanks for an awesome dining experience. We will be back.
Food was delicious and the portion size was great... My party and I had the shrimp and gritz and wild berry French toast.. There is a menu change. No cheese and sautéed veggies with the shrimp and gritz, which was fine with me.. I will definitely go back
I really love this little spot. Consistent, consistent, consistent! Every time I eat here, I get the same experience. While that may sound boring to some, it is very important to me. You see, I work near this place so I use it as a meeting spot for friends, family and colleagues. Having a dependable establishment where I can go to get a good meal and not worry about the food, the service or the atmosphere is wonderful.
Their menu is diverse and I've yet to order a single item that I wasnt pleased with. Their ingredients are fresh and tasty. Their staff is friendly and attentive. Their dining area always looks clean and modern. It is just an all around great little spot. So, if you couldn't tell, I highly recommend that you too give them a try.
We were excited to try this new breakfast place. The decor was really cute, and everyone was very welcoming and friendly.
The menu had a variety of dishes to choose from. The $3 mimosas were delicious. The homemade tater tots were amazing! The Gritz bowls were great. My husband had the Loaded Steakhouse Style, and I had the Baja Gritz with jalapeno, bacon, avocado, cheese, and blackened chicken. Both were large portions, and we had plenty to eat. And my husband was thrilled for the local beer selections.
We would highly recommend What the Gritz!
Seafood omelette with grits and a biscuit. Great food. Best grits I have ever had.
The service was decent and the atmosphere cute. The pancakes were not good I did not like them at all. But the biscuits were amazing! And my husband enjoyed his country fried steak. Over all a nice place.
The food was amazing. I had the loaded steak grits bowl. The streak was well marinated and grilled just right. The grits were real grits not quick grits. My son had blueberry cobbler French toast. It had very fresh blueberries. My wife's Western omelette had large pieces of fresh veggies and meat. But the star of the omelette was the side of tots. These are made in house and are incredible.
Place was pretty good. Wasn't to busy when we got there around 1030am on a Sunday. I had coffee with biscuits and gravy and a side of grits. Coffee wasn't the best, tasted kinda burnt. Food was really good. The grits were so big, almost looked like the whole corn instead of ground. Tasted pretty good too.

Great decoration. Food was alright very basic. Ordered the eggs Benedict too salty and my eggs were over done. My friend ordered the shrimp and Gritz and said very plain. Blood Mary's also very basic. Also they had a long wait and tons of open seating.
