Atmosphere for a cold, dark Fall dinner was stellar. Sat in the enclosed porch and enjoyed every second; music was good, lighting was perfect, server was available but not hovering.
Food was good. Appreciated the $10 lobster tails as it was a Tuesday night. Not my favorite she crab soup in the area but the quality of the fish in our rolls and poke tacos, more than made up for that. To top it off, our desserts were fantastic, probably the best Key Lime pie around this area. If I’m wrong, lemme know.
Went to dinner here last night and it was so good. Let’s start with the food. I will recommend the butternut squash soup because it’s delicious and light. Great fall appetizer in my opinion. The crab dip had a lot of crab which was a good change from other restaurants. The crab cakes were very good but it did have a little bit of burnt pieces that impacted the flavor. The scallops were like butter and just amazing overall but the risotto was al dente for my boyfriend’s mom’s liking. The dessert took way too long to get out to the table due to the short kitchen staff. Then the men’s bathroom photos were out of place for that restaurant in my opinion. Not sure why almost nude photos are in the men’s bathroom. Overall I would venture back if I were in the area again.
Food was good, as was service and atmosphere. Two things of interest... their version of remoulade is more of a tartar sauce than what I get at other restaurants and although they voiced no objections when my party of six requested separate checks before placing our orders, we were advised at the end of our meal that next time it would not be allowed. Oh and an automatic gratuity was added to each check.
We had a great time on our mother daughter date night at The Porch. Although the sun was set be for our arrival we still chose seating on the porch to enjoy the lights over the water. Our waitress server Sarah was phenomenal. We started off with Crunchy Tuna roll. It was delicious. My daughter had a half Caesar salad with the Burger Special. I had the Salmon Special over risotto and added scallops because it sounded too good to decide between the two. The salmon and scallops were equally delicious, and all were cooked perfectly. For dessert we ordered a crème brûlée and although the rest of the meal was top notch, the crème brûlée fell short. The sugar was overly done, and tasted similar to a burnt marshmallow, while the custard was more liquid than custard. I enjoyed a Cucumber Mojito with my meal and it was refreshingly simple. We enjoyed our evening and look forward to visiting again.
What an amazing place!! The atmosphere was lively, beautiful, and breathtaking when the sun set. I went with my girls friends to celebrate my birthday and it will be a night to remember. Champagne with a sparkler, delicious appetizers, amazing dinner meals, and the desserts, soooo yummy 😋. If you want a fun girls/guys night, romantic dinner for two or just grab a drink and some appetizers, this is the place to be ❤️❤️❤️❤️😊😊😊😊
Update 12/16/23. This has become our favorite dinner spot!
The wait can be about 45min or a little longer, but it's worth it.
We've taken family & friends. Everyone loves it, like we do.
My husband met the owner. He stated that the owner was a nice guy.
This little gem of a restaurant is phenomenal! Our server Nel was awesome and her suggestions were spot on. I will be back! The scallops with risotto and saffron…were absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked… the Halibut was perfectly seasoned… and the filet mignon melted in my mouth. To top it off… the lemon blueberry cake… just try it!!!! Great portions, atmosphere and staff! Ask for Nel! It will tickle your taste buds. Bravo to the open kitchen and executive chefs. Worth the 45 minute wait!!!!!
I’ve been here a couple times and have long awaited to leave a review with immaculate photography of the art…I mean food that comes out here. My dinner compatriots and I enjoyed a bountiful feast of filet mignon, scallops, crab dip, poke tacos, and sushi. My filet was cooked to perfection and was a surprisingly large portion which made my day.
I highly recommend the scallops which are to GALLOP for. Seriously gallop as fast as you can to get these succulent scallops onto your taste buds, they are perfect and accompanied by some rockin risotto.
With the porch you also get an enchanting atmosphere with a view of the sunset over the water. If you’re into boat watching you get some great boats pulling up too.
To top everything off, the service is on point. It’s common for the porch to be crowded but even so our delightful server Emily made sure to continuously check on our drinks for refills and brought out food in a timely manner. 10/10 dining experience
This is a beautiful, relaxing restaurant to eat at. I recommend eating on the covered porch to watch the boats go by and see the sunset. We had the Mediterranean plate for an appetizer and it was delicious. Our server was very friendly. My Mahi-mahi wasn’t cooked through all the way on the thick end. They made me a whole new meal but it took a long time to come out. Be aware if you have children with you that there’s pictures of naked women in the men’s restroom. Thought that was distasteful.
Party of 10 for an early Saturday lunch with reservations, we enjoyed our visit. The restaurant must have had no-show issues because their policy and attitude toward reservations is strict - will not seat until everyone arrives, cancel if 15 min late, and they even call an hour ahead to confirm - it’s a bit much. Everything was delicious including the crab and dip, sushi rolls, crab cakes, burgers, french dip, and salads. The french fries could be better. The atmosphere is excellent along with the views. Our server was friendly, and provided excellent service.
