Pretty tasty place for chicken and biscuits. They've been around for years and have had consistent quality. I like the pulled pork BBQ and chicken platter. Their fish is good too!
One of the best chicken sandwiches ever. Asked for tomatoes on the sandwich and got a giant 1/2" thick slice of cold fresh tomato. Chicken is thick and full of flavor. People are really friendly. I don't live near by but when I'm working in the area I can't resist stopping here. You have to try the Puffs, feel fried biscuit with honey and butter. Awesome hush puppies. Fresh brewed sweet tea. This is what a chicken shop should be like
I stopped by for lunch and was very impressed! Not only was the front staff polite and friendly, but the food was hot and delicious. I have been to chicken places that have that crispy, been setting under a heat lamp food and this place isn't one of them. On another note I have been to other pollards and none seem to be as good or friendly as this location, whatever is working keep it up. I tried the fish as well and it was equally as great as the chicken. I WILL be back to this location again soon!
The food is fantastic and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The portions are large but very affordable. I definitely recommend Pollard's to anyone looking for a good meal. Be sure to try the puffs.

This place is so good. I love fried chicken and this is my go to place. The staff is nice and the place is always clean. The food is fresh so it's a little hot but taste so good. They have a bottle of hot sauce on the table for your chicken. Their sweet tea is the good southern style tea.
First time trying this place but good first impression. Was in a rush so only ordered the tenders. They were piping hot, extremely tender and good flavor profile. My only complaint is that the breading tends to fall off as you start eating it. But other than I was impressed!
Needed to feed 35 people for a party at the last minute and this place made it happen. I came in with no idea how much food to get and I just told them how many adults and how many kids. We had chicken and sides for everyone and only about 8 pieces extra left over. Everyone was so happy that we had real good food for the party instead of just chips and dip. Everything was super affordable too. It was under $80 which was what I was going to spend on food to cook for this party. Love this place. You have a lifetime customer.
So happy to find a store near me. This one had the nicest counter staff I have ordered from. The wait time was less than I have ever experienced!!! Makes me happy. Oh yeah, and the food was fantastic and hot!!! Thank you.
I use to thunk of this place as a 5 star but ladt week, I only had ro wait a few minutes, for 3 breasts. Usually, i have to wait 20 mins+. Chicken was disappointing so much so that they gave me an extra piece!
Their chocolate cake is AMAZING!
The decor is bare-bones and the ambiance non-existent, but if you love southern fried chicken this is the only place to get it. The mixed livers and gizzards alone are worth the price of admission, the fried okra is delicious, and the hush puppies are my mom's favourite. Staff are always friendly and helpful. I don't make it back to VB often, but when I do Pollard's is always my first stop.
