Not sure why any Sage reviews would be negative, I have eaten there 4 times now and neither myself, or anyone I went with has ever had anything but a great meal, quick service and a friendly staff. Granted I am now retired and usually eat lunch-dinners around 3, and breakfast are usually on weekdays, so crowds are not an issue.
Servings are large portions and if you are not big eaters can be shared, especially the salads and several of the sandwiches. On our last visit my wife had the salad, a speciality (non-acoholic) drink. I had one of the burgers, flavored tea. We shared a dessert. With the tip our meal came to $33.74, the tip was 20%.
Give it a try, you will love it.
This place has become my favorite place! The food is amazing! The clothes are beautiful! The outside decode is wonderful too. Definitely a one stop shop place.

Amazing find for both parents and children to enjoy.
Parents can relax while closely watching their children play with the convenience of the restaurant and dining area (inside/outside) when ready to eat.
Customer service was great and friendly as well!

1st time there with fam n friends. Very interesting venue, gift shop, garden,you name it. The food was great, especially the tomato basil soup! Mmm,I also had a chicken salad on croissant, very good the staff was very friendly and nice.
The food was great, a little expensive, but not much is necessarily affordable these days so it's definitely worth it. The atmosphere was a chill vibe for lunch. And the staff are extremely friendly.
The main attraction for us was being able to eat and the kids have an outdoor area to hangout and play with other kids.
Don't see any reason why anyone would ever have an excuse not to come visit.
I had lunch here today per my mom's recommendation and it absolutely didn't disappoint!! The staff were very welcoming and we ordered drinks and food at the bar, which came out very quickly for a Sunday afternoon! We chose to sit outside and the atmosphere is beautiful with plants all around! The menu had SO many delicious looking meals. I had a difficult time choosing, but decided on the Birria Quesadilla. Omg. Delicious! We also got the fried green tomatoes as an app and I would quite literally go there again just for those. The spicy bloody mary was one of the best I've had in a while, and the fried corn bangers were surprisingly amazing. I cannot wait to go again and try something new!
I love this place! The coconut curry bowl (with grilled chicken added) was amazing as was my wife’s everything salad. Also I love the vibe. The large outdoor area has a wonderful playground for kids, and the staff was super nice. I would definitely come here again.
We hosted a Rehearsal Dinner of 42 guests in the greenhouse at Sage Kitchen in Anderson’s Garden Center Virginia Beach. Chef Mike Nobile did a fantastic job with the food and our guests loved everything. He’s super nice and easy to work with. They have a wonderful selection of menu items and are reasonably priced. MaryLynn Webster was our event planner at Sage Kitchen. I highly recommend adding her service. She’s professional, experienced, and reassures you that everything will be taken care of and it was. The greenhouse was absolutely beautiful! Thank you to Chef Mike Nobile, MaryLynn and the entire staff at Sage Kitchen for a beautiful and memorable night.
If you are looking for outdoor seating and have fun with your family this place is really nice for you. They have very good food. Service was pretty fast. Its difficult to find empty table outdoor but still okay. Very nice play area for kids. You can watch your kids play white you are eating or drinking! They have healthy drinks and food.
Great spot to bring kids. Never outdoor play area with the kids can run around and have fun while my wife and I can eat and relax. Occasionally have live music which is really fun to enjoy while eating. Really unique place everybody should check it out at least once. My wife's favorite thing to order is the sweet potato fries.
Great outdoor dining inside or out near the greenhouse. Wonderful outdoor area for kids. The menu has a lot of healthy and very tasty items to choose from. The servers were very friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend Sage Kitchen! And walk through the greenhouse and check out the beautiful plants too!
Went for Sunday brunch. 5 hour drive from where I live! Great food, drinks, and service.
The booth seat backs are horrible. U could literally knock the food out the hand of the person behind you! Normal movement of the other person will irritate you. Sit outside if it's nice. The concept of the place is so unique.
Food, shopping, family entertainment (mini golf, arcade, play houses for kids. I'll definitely come back
