Family owned that serves absolute quality, fresh ingredients, in large filling portions with prices that are entirely too low for what you are getting.
We enjoyed the steak tacos, blackened Mahi tacos, & Chicken quesadilla with chips and their homemade salsa .. which btw the salsa needs to be jarred and sold on the shelves!
Okay, so let's just say.. Go on ahead and treat yourself to a nice outdoor meal accompanied by an orange crush. The food was fresh and scrumptious, the chips and dip.. mmmm... from start to finish in a busy environment the courtesy and attentiveness was excellent. Smiles all the way around. Our orders were made exactly as we ordered and we didn't break the bank. Can't wait to return!
Quick bites on the beach while you watch the ocean waves. Food came fast and was pretty good. I ordered their chipotle wings and fried pickles. Their homemade ranch dressing is really good. I ordered a margarita it was also good.
5 stars for tequila selection, love from staff, and Johnny's expertise in tequila and approachable demeanor.
I tested staff for accuracy, knowledge and grit - the young lady and support staff passed with flying colors. Service was great and food was on par! Johnny was attentive to my questions about the must haves and I left feeling as if my experience was worth much more than money could buy. I found a place I will come back to with family and friends.
I look forward to sipping fine tequila beach side with loved ones for many years to come!
Can't beat the views from this oceanfront open-air bar! Outstanding service from Johnny himself. Food was great, and served fast and hot! Creative speciality cocktails.

The server/bartender was polite and personable. Gorgeous ocean view while dining. The California burrito is the best thing I ate in Virginia during our week visit. The taste and portion size was perfect (better then anything I've eaten in Cali). Cannot stress how delicious this was. Must stop spot.
We stumbled upon a local hangout in the off season. Very few people but we ended up all talking about nostalgic Virginia Beach. Plantains were fabulous. Burger was meh.
Both the kitchen and the service staff at Johnny Manana's were very good. Tacos, quesadilla, and burgers were all yummy and well-presented. Of course, the ocean view gets five stars for atmosphere.
I had gotten the cheese dip add taco seasoned ground beef,and they were the best nachos I had ever eaten. I like the fact that they put the cheese separate from the chips when taking out.
