Great atmosphere, the owner personally greets all of his guests. The wait staff is great even with the little issue we had. Food portion and taste is exceptional. We recommend this place 5 stars!
Unfortunately, SurfSide is now closed. Confirmed by a former employee, it closed around the first week of October 2019.
If you're looking for excellent, non-franchise, local seafood, I can heartily recommend Bubba's on Shore Drive.

So happy to find delicious Surf Rider West food and familiar faces at SurfSide. Many new menu choices as well as old favorites. A little pricey. Great spaces for groups, welcoming to families, and booths for a little more private dining.
Generally I give 3 stars to the food and 4 star to the location and the staff. Looking forward to taste their food again at the near future.
Went last Sat. food was delicious!!!! Drinks were fantastic!!! Staff was really friendly and attentive!
All you can eat crab legs, an app, dessert and a bottle of wine for $80. Great staff, friendly and very responsive. Overall it was a great experience and I'll be back!

We may have had a wait because we had a new server, but she still took great care of us and the manager even offered us a free appetizer.
If you order anything here, get the Crabby Patty burger. A crab cake on a beef Patty. That was easily the best burger I've ever had in my entire life. They cooked it medium rare perfectly. Love this place.
Went there last night and was expecting your usual bar food and choice of burgers or sandwiches. The waitress recommended the burger with a crab cake on top. Let me say that was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had in my life. The server was amazing and friendly and even the owner came over to our table as well as others to ensure we was happy with everting. I can say I’ll be defiantly going back to this place again and will defiantly recommend it to others. I only wish I took a picture of the burger to show others how amazing it was.
