A great place to relax. Nice marked walking trails. The beach is clean and quiet. The park has all amenities for recreation. Highly recommend to visit especially in fall season.

Went on a family trip and I must say I was impressed at how beautiful and serene the beach and sites were. Very quiet. Bath houses are maintained excellently by rangers every morning. We already have our next trip back planned for next year and will most likely be making it a yearly trip!

My husband and I and our 2 pups stayed in cabin 10 for the weekend. We had a great time and the weather was perfect for late October. The staff that we encountered were very friendly. Trails were well marked. Beautiful sunsets right on the beach.

Stunning. Bald Cyprus Trail is so worth the entrance fee. Definitely take the time!! (Parking is $7 on weekdays, and $10 on weekends). Trail is moderately busy, and you can totally hear all the jets from the military base, but it's still incredibly peaceful. Turtles, lovely birds, and incredible swamp views. Lots of benches as well.

Animal and personal bus build friendly. Direct beach access. Even tho lots of camp spot are close together, there's a lot of mature tree and other plant growth throughout. Gorgeous. Trees are easy to climb for kids and cats.

First landing is like my home away from home. Every year we come to camp and enjoy the beautiful Chesapeake bay area. Clean restrooms and showers, wash sinks, laundromat, camping supply store, spacious campgrounds and miles of beautiful nature trails make camping a zen like experience. The ocean is about a ten minute walk and the bay is alive with dolphins, fish, crabs and waterfowl. This park is well-kept and definitely worth the visit!

Very clean camp ground and bathroom areas. Beach was extremely clean and almost no one there, so really private. Park ranger presence 24 hours a day for security which is great and everyone working at the park was respectful and willing to answer questions and help out whenever you needed. Will make this a yearly place to go in the summer now!

First Landing State Park was formerly called Seashore State Park. First Landing State Park is located on Shore Drive. Admission to the park is $7 per vehicle on weekdays and $10 on the weekends. The right side of Shore Drive is the beach access. The left side of Shore Drive has 20 miles walking, biking, and hiking trails. This is another one of Virginia Beach amazing parks. Many visitors fish, swim, camp, kayak, and boat at Fist Landing State Park. The employees are really friendly. The visitors information center is opened daily from 9 a.m - 5 p.m. The gift shop ,restrooms, and cafe is behind the visitors center. This is an amazing park 🏕️🚴🏻🏖️🏊🏼‍♀️🚣🏼‍♂️

Beautiful! Great trails! Board walk trails. They even had cute brochures for kids that had a find and seek adventure for the trails! Great place to walk dogs as well. It did cost 5$ to park, but it was for the whole day.

Absolutely beautiful, very clean park with spacious campsites. Multiple entries (boardwalk paths) to the beach. Store stocked many necessary camping items and has a snack bar. Outdoor showers and restrooms are clean. Only criticism is they should have changing rooms for the day visitors.
