A friend raved about this place so we made the drive from Chesapeake to check it out, Groupon in hand. We were NOT disappointed! My hubby got the happy hour fried shrimp. They were HUGE and the batter was delectable. The sauce they came with was nice but a bit too spicy for my taste. I got a side salad which was served w a yum homemade ranch dressing. Veggies were fresh and tasty. I got a seafood linguine. The portion was giant as were the deelish pieces of shrimp, scallops and crab. The sauce was light and lemony. I would have liked a bit more flavor, but it was tasty. My husband got the scallops with orzo and asparagus, etc. I wish I had ordered THAT! Amazing! Nice, creamy sauce and the scallops were bronzed perfectly! The desserts were great, too, but I’m tired of writing! �

It was kind of like seeing old friends you hadn't seen in a while. I walk up to the door and there is Lisa ready to give a hug. I was a big fan of Stoley's, much in part due the "Best Bartender in The World". Stoley's was a warm and friendly place to grab a little food, conversation and a few glasses of wine so I missed it when Lisa was gone. Needless to say, I was ecstatic to hear they were back. So, how did Motsie’s do? I had Asiago Calamari for appetizer and it was tasty, especially with the Key Lime Aioli. Rather than a dinner, I opted for the Pan Seared Scallops appetizer. These were to die for! Serviced with crispy shoestring onions, they were awesome. Might just be the best I ever had! My companion had the Crab Cakes, which she seems to order whenever they are on the menu and she proclaimed them the best she ever had. Hum, two for two! Have to mention, what I thought were Hush Puppies but turned out to be Corn Fritters were so good, we got an order to go to munch on! After the Holidays I was reluctant to have desert but after seeing the Key Lime pie, I joined in. Can’t resist Key Lime Pie! Again, as good as it gets. This somewhat casual place put out a dinner any fine dining establishment would aspire to. Glad you guys are back, and back with a vengeance! See you again soon!
They have this cayenne dip made in house. Fing amazing! So much flavor and spice. Went great with their calamari and I used it with my sweet potato fries because....so good.
Everything really was good. I had the fried oysters. Perfectly seasoned, juicy and tender.
My wife had fish tacos which were also fantastic.
Won't say one bad thing. There was a lively crew up at the bar and they were probably just as loud as my kids.
Everyone is welcome there and no one is left out. Kids menu was perfect.
I went here, because I had a Groupon, and I noticed they had a high rating on Google Maps. I was not disappointed at all. The menu is not too overwhelming, and I like that, because it means they specialize in what they offer. The food was exceptionally good, and the service was remarkable. All of their sauces and desserts are made in-house. So, I had to try the key lime pie. All I can say is wow to that! I will be back.
Great find! Food was awesome with great Happy Hour specials. Our server, Mike, went above and beyond to spice up my husband's dish. Food was fresh and delicious. Love the atmosphere. We will be back! Very accommodating to our Service Dog, as well. Make sure and try the crab balls! They were little bites of delight! No playing around here with bland run of the mill Chef's Vegetable of the Day.....Perfectly cooked asparagus was amazing! Thank you!
I stepped by for a late lunch yesterday. They do have public restrooms. The bar was nice. They also have a reading nook.The server was great! She did say the seafood and sauces are fresh and cooked to order. I decided to order the jumbo lump crab mac and cheese. I also ordered the grilled shrimp wrap to go since they had the $5 sandwich deal. The mac and cheese was delicious! It was a large portion, enough for me to have leftovers. There was plenty of crab in there. It was just cheesy goodness. The grilled shrimp wrap was also delicious. The shrimp are colossal. This is perfect for a light but filling lunch.
I had Groupon for Motsie, ordered their scallops which was cooked the right way. I also enjoyed there happy hour that included appetizers and drinks
It was very nice, we purchased a Groupon just to try out a new place. The food was great and our waitress was extremely nice. I recommend the crabcake sandwich.
Food was great, our server Angie was amazing. Started eating other stuff before I could take a pic 😂😂 will DEFINITELY return
This restaurant has amazing staff and an amazing chief. Had dinner here with colleagues and we were well taken care off. Shared some of the best apps and all our dinners were all great. Was surprised to have a great dinner here but will be back!

Looking for a Sea Food place while in Virginia and stumbled across Motsie’s! We were very pleased we did! From the start the hospitality was great and food excellent. The restaurant was nice and very clean and we felt good energy. If your ever in the area go and get the Salmon with Black Beans and brown rice! Erie Pa will be back to check you guys out again!
