Recently introduced to this place. Honestly the best philly cheesesteak hoagie I've eaten! The texture of the meat and flavors go so well together.
Wonderful cheesesteaks!!went for the first time last night, I myself had a bacon blue cheese one and I loved it so much! I got my husband a chicken cordon blue one, only complaint was there was not enough dijonaise and it was a little dry, but even then it was a damn good sandwhich. The customer service was amazing, the price is worth it, and I will totally be coming back soon!!!
Good cheese steak in a no frills restaurant, a bit pricey ($31 for two footlong sandwiches). Ordered cheese and beef toppings. Plenty of seating inside and OK amount of parking outside (shopping center style parking, but only single row in front of shops and one row behind). Service speed was OK, these sandwiches cook quick but still had to wait about 10 minutes due to customers already in line. In my opinion, a bit overpriced. Ate here about 2 times in the last 4 years.
Might be the best cheesesteak I've had. Ordered a full chicken with cheese ( and onions don't hate ) and fries.
The fries were nice and crispy. The sandwich was HUGE. The meat was tender with just the right amount of cheese.
A local VB staple. Best Cheesesteaks in town hands down, service is always spot on and fast, food is consistently excellent. Not much else one could ask for.
I went a decade eating Iggles without knowing the Bacon and Blue phillys existed. That was until a customer of our's brought some in to our business for lunch as a thank you, and since then they have been our go-to weekly lunch order. Give the Blue a try!
Walking into the place felt like being in Philly. It was nostalgic for sure. Best Philly I’ve had in VB. Will be there again for the soft bread, melty cheese, and delicious steak.
The best cheesesteak in the entire area code. Period. Lunch can be pretty busy. I'd recommend calling ahead your order so it's ready when you get there. Staff is cool
I went to Iggles to get their cheesesteak egg rolls. You have to get them early because they sell out sometimes. Fortunately, I made it early enough. I ordered 2 cheesesteak enrolls. They were delish! They crispy and the outside, tender and cheesy of the inside. You have to try them!
Sooooo .. this place is a classic in my opinion. I remember the other location in Norfolk. My family and I used to go all the time. This location is much more convenient.
Every time that we go inside, there are always people inside which a good sign. I never switch up. I always get the same order lol. Call me boring but when I know .. something good, I keep getting it. What I get is the cheesesteak hoggie with everything on it .. plus hot peppers. Their fries are also good.
Isn't it weird that when I went to Philly .. I didn't enjoy the philly cheese? I heard it's not a philly cheese unless the bag is leaking .. and well mine was and I WAS HAPPY. My dad and I saw someone eating Philly cheesesteak fries and now we know . . what we are going to get when we come back for the billionth time.
Antonio was so polite and courteous. The chicken philly is something to write home about. I drive from Western Branch to VB just to get one. Delicious they never disappoint. Wish they had a branch close to my home.
Very good cheese steak. We had the original and were very happy with it. My kid and I split our large sandwich because it was pretty big. The fries were also worth it.
Nice little place. Employees are friendly and food is decent. Being that they’re a Philly spot (entire restaurant had Philly sports decor inside), I was disappointed that they didn’t have wiz as an option for cheese. Wiz is what makes it a real Philly sub, not swiss or cheddar. I will probably come back and try a different sub next time. Owners, if you’re reading this, buy some wiz and watch your business boom!!
