Been coming here for years. They have a new menu. Great food. She crab soup could be updated and made wayyy better. All the other food was great! I gave 4 stars because they were dead and the waitress sat inside for about 15 minutes before even coming up to us and they have no sense of urgency. Also if you sit out front you can smell the grease trap/something rotten from the kitchen. Wonderful owners, fun place to hang with friends, get some drinks, and watch games. Their wings and shrimp are some of my favorites! Also the house made chips and cheese and buffalo chicken sandwich. Hubby loved his burger.
Typical seaside bar and grill. Nothing really special, but definitely not a dive bar. The wings were decent. My only complaint is that the only dry rub they offer is Old Bay, which is okay, but not my preference. And I just don't eat wet wings. Great salad! It wasn't crowded when I was there for lunch, but I imagine it can get pretty lively in the evenings, especially on weekends. Also, the outside seating is EXTREMELY dog friendly! Plenty of water bowls and water.
We've dubbed this spot our new place. It was a very inviting atmosphere. Good and drinks were good. Highly recommend the brownie and ice cream. So rich and warm. I had fried scallops and a Caesar side salad (it was still big but soo delicious). My friend had the burger and hushpuppies. The cost was my own food and the brownie.
Our first time here. Our mistake was sitting outside. It was a gorgeous day, and they had a fire going. The problem was that people outside were smoking cigars and cigarettes throughout our meal. Yuk. The food is great! The raw oysters were delicious and reasonably priced. We shared a giant seafood platter. What I loved was that you can get grilled and steamed items. Not every item is deep fried. Yay! Parking is tight, but we found a spot. We will be back, and next time, we'll sit inside.
Nice cozy place. Great server got everything right for a party of 15 or so.
Found this to be a great place to watch Sunday football. I was out of town. All the games on. Good food and $3 beers. The locals were great and everyone shut up and stood for the national anthem. A classy place.
I wanted seafood, and I got seafood!! All the seafood. Big enough for 2 people and we had the best hushpuppies. I think my mix drink was $10 and the service was great. Well definitely go back.
We sat outside and the flies were bad. Suggest a fly trap of some sort. The deck is awesome usually. Wings were not good seemed like prior days heated up. Couple next to us had a pet which peed on the floor.
Great place! Thanks for being open on Christmas, a lot of people don't have anywhere to go. I know that we tipped well, I hope everyone else did, too!
A couple of "mountain folk" Visiting from the Smokey Mountains of NC. Looked forward to FRESH seafood for a long time. Were Very satisfied with our experience at CP Shuckers. Samantha took excellent care of my wife and I. We felt pampered. We had Lumpia, she crab soup, hot wings, steamed old bay shrimp, and brownie ice cream desert. If you are visiting the area, HIGHLY recommend you visit if you are looking to delicious seafood and unlimited beer selection.
