First time here with my fiance. Great meal and location. 2nd visit today with my husband. Love the crab bisque. Crab cakes were mediocre but tasted okay. Love the hush puppies
Stopped here after spending time at Virginia Beach. Our waitress Faithlin was amazing. She checked on us without hovering. She crab soup was very creamy and flavorful. I got the crab cake blackened, and my husband got the fried shrimp. The shrimp was not heavily battered. Both were amazing. As an appetizer, we had the hushpuppies again, just amazing food. The sweet tea was freshly brewed, which made it even better. We sat outside with water views. You just can't go wrong here. They have a fush market and little gift shop as well. Everyone we encountered was super friendly.

A hidden gem 💎! When you're in the area, definitely go by. Hidden because if you enter through the Seafood Store, you'll find all fresh fish sales. But if you continue to the rear of the store, you will walk into the restaurant bar and serving area, sitting right on the water. WOW! What a hidden gem 💎. The prices were reasonable, and associates were welcoming and down to earth friendly. Check out our afternoon dishes. Are you getting hungry? Temperature was just right too...water and boating absolutely perfect. We just enjoyed our meal and watched the boaters drive by. Why, if you got your own, you can park it port side and get your meal. Can you beat that? Well, got to hop onto another writing, I'm enjoying our weekend getaway at Virginia Beach, Embassy Suites. An absolutely beautiful 😍 but luxurious accommodation right off the beach. Look, if you have stayed with me, you need to hug someone close to you and tell them how much you care about them. Sometimes, as we have learned, life can be short. Our friends or loved ones can be taken from us in 15 minutes or less. So hug them tight, I mean really tight. There was a band playing outside and it was great entertainment while WWE waited and had drinks. Table was ready and we had great service and the atmosphere was amazing. We wanted to sit outside on the deck ,the weather was perfect and views even more so. Food excellent and hot . Definitely recommend this wonderful dining spot.

A delicately blackened crabcake with seasoned red potato cuts and a side of freshly prepped cole slaw (not sweet, not tart, perfect!) put me square back in the Coastal Waters mood for just $17 — a great deal daily offered, and very much approved by this traveler-reviewer! Add on a good portion of delectable key-lime pie… and your forgotten recollections of that childhood A1A family roadtrip come back to mind thusly. ☀️
Ms. Anabelle at the hostess desk, and Ms. Kara serving drinks at the zinc (along with the variety of meals ordered) all through the bar-area… together these happy gals made sure my all-too-short nosh at the marina was still pleasantly enjoyable and memorable.

Ordered a Drunken Sailor while waiting for our table. Sat at a community table where there are 7 of us enjoying the boat from Freedom Boat Club. They don't take reservations(much better than saving that table when they don't show up). Worth the wait!
Shannon gave us really a great treat for a family that is so hard to get together.

The tuna sandwich was awesome! We also tried the shark and calamari. Food is delicious . After fishing on the boat and catching some fish, the restaurant cooked the fish we caught displayed in the 1st photo.
Enjoyed this restaurant for an easy weekday lunch. Was craving some fried fish and this place did not disappoint. The service was great! Wish the good was a little more seasoned. I really enjoyed view.
I've been on the fishing charter quite a few times. Every time I go, I am always hooking something. Whether it be croaker or some random fish, just being on a boat at a cheaper rate than most charters in VA Beach is delightful.
I recommend doing the charter if you are a first timer or have some experience with fishing. The deck hands are great at what they do and are personable. When I have time to burn in the morning and a knack for fishing, Dockside Fishing Charters is my go-to place. It beats shore and pier fishing any day of the week.
