This has been my go-to sushi place for years! Close to home, great food, reasonable prices, always greeted by the hostess, and have never had bad service, even when they are slammed. Definitely recommend!

My favorite place for sushi! The restaurant is always cleans & the staff is very friendly!
Absolutely delicious. Well-priced, rich flavor, and a great assortment of different dishes. We got the spicy birria ramen and spicy veggie (forget the name) ramen, along with Unagi nigiri, a mango tango roll, and spicy edamame. We paid about $100 for all the food we got, which was well worth it for the quality. Will be going back as soon as we can!
Our server was attentive and very helpful. Atmosphere is great for a casual lunch, a romantic dinner, or a cozy meal for one.
I love the food here the atmosphere and the service is really friendly I had the birria ramen and it’s soo good I had to take the chicken fried rice home because i was too full I like the fact the this place has so many rolls to choose from like the sleepy turtle the ragging bull and the angry shrimp if your in Vernon hills this is the place to try I will be back soon.

Simply one of the best sushi experiences anywhere. Attentive service and delicious food in a friendly atmosphere. Have chef Edward make you a custom roll, you wont be disappointed. Tell him what you like and prepare to be impressed. Just awesome!
I came with my family today and I ordered the Godzilla roll sake lover, volcano,black hawk some tuna some hamachi sushi and was amazing the spicy Birria ramen is Soo rich in taste I love the atmosphere and the staff love the portions and prices will be back with my family and highly recommend if your a sushi lover

House special fried rice is incredible and the portion is ENORMOUS.
Glad I found this gem of a spot! The rolls were so good but the sleeping turtle and salmon lovers were our faves. One of the few good sushi spots in the area!
I’ve been going to this sushi kushi since before I was in middle school. I’m 21 now, and it’s still my favorite sushi place i’ve literally EVER been to. The staff is so friendly, my family has gotten complimentary appetizers, and the food is beyond belief. Always so fresh tasting, and consistently very good. I can’t think of a single negative experience I’ve had here. We got their takeout through 2020 and the quality and service never wavered. I always recommend sushi kushi to anyone visiting the area, because it doesn’t get better than this!
Ramen was delicious with a twist. Katsudon was fantastic! Gyoza was my husband's favorite in the area. Definitely will visit again.
