Chef John is a rare talent with weekly feature dishes...(which are incredible) that make it hard to choose plus a menu full of favorites, not to mention his expertise in stocking weekly featured wines ... allowing us to experience great pairings. Dishes range from traditional "home family recipes" to exquisite gourmet Italian style. Try to catch Angie at the bar ...she's a delight and a wine-gourmet that can steer you in your food and bev choices and share some interesting background on the dishes, wines etc. With Their family history of "great Italian cooking" as well as Chef's research while traveling in Italy ... this place is well founded and a great dining experience. LOVE the ambiance... we love to sit at the bar for a bit before dinner. Also for those light bites , the wood fire oven pizzas made while you watch ... with their light crust and huge Variety of toppings are incredible . We held a special event in one of their banquet rooms and our entire out of town guest list was thanking us for such a lovely treat. Caporella's stocked our wine bar , the set up was beautiful and our menu pleased everyone. I can't say enough about Caporella's... in every respect , you are in for a treat when you step through their door.
Their food and service was amazing. Our server was Brad and he was very polite and made sure we had everything that we needed. Love the feel of the place. The price was well appropriate. It has become me and my husbands favorite place. We definitely recommend it!
Always a great place for lunch or dinner. Ambience is warm and classy. Great place for special events. Cuisine is consistently yummy❤️ service is good and the specials are awesome.
Fabulous Italian cuisine in Uniontown's historic Grindle train Station! The best restaurant in Uniontown--this family run business never disappoints. The fish is always fresh, the beans and greens (while heavy in garlic) is delicious--especially when paired with sparkling moscato, and they've some tasty desserts.
Friendly and attentive staff assist you and yours to have a delicious and romantic date night experience.
Caporella’s receives 10 stars Becky the hostess was phenomenal she squeezed us in unexpected and our server Angie was one of the best waitresses we have ever had! Now onto the food!!! Hands down the most authentic Italian cuisine I have tasted. The Bruschetta was to die for!!! The Meatballs and Spaghetti we top notch and the Lasagna Pasta had so much flavor it was dancing in my mouth!!
We will definitely visit again when we need an Italian night!!!!
This place is amazing. One of the best steaks that I have had all year long. My wife had the scampi and there were tons of shrimp in it! Money well spent.
Caporellas is always a favorite of ours. Locally owned. A bit pricy, family of 4 your looking at about $100. Food is always good. We love the bread. Service is usually good. Do plan to spend atleast an hour if not more here.
Absolutely stellar food just completely surprised my wife and I. From the waitresse"s prompt and expert service to the chefs amazing dishes not to mention the wedding soup!!! we absolutely loved the wedding soup enough that we bought a couple Pints of the wedding soup to bring home!!! I cannot wait to make the hour and 15 minute trip back down to eat here again and again and again just to try different things every time!!!! So thank you so much for setting the bar so high that I don't think we can settle for Italian food at another place!!!
Update: it’s been three months since our first visit we finally made it back down for another date night and they did not disappoint just solidified this is our favorite restaurant!!!!
Food was good and service was great. A little pricey but worth it. The Chilean Sea bass was really really good
Located in a former train station. The inside makes you feel like you stepped into another location as long as you don't look out the windows. Great wine selection and food choices. Everything we had was excellent with large portions so we could enjoy them another day at home. We went with friends who had been there once before due to a recommendation from a friend. We will be back.
I've never had a bad meal at Caporella's. Brad was our server, and he was top-notch! The place was jamming for a Wednesday, but he was completely cool-headed and very pleasant to our rather-large group.
I ordered the grouper with Cajun spice and Cajun pasta, and it was delicious. The fish was perfectly done and the pasta was filled with seafood with an amazing, rich, Cajun-spiced sauce.
The beans n' greens we had as an appetizer was wonderful; silky and laden with a ton of garlic, just the way I like it!
If you're looking to eat here, you need to make reservations. The food and service is good. It is a bit pricey, but definitely worth it. The portions will not disappoint you either.
