O'gillies

We arrived twenty minutes before they closed and they welcomed us with such kindness. Reassured us that we should sit back and enjoy. And we did! We ordered drinks, an appetizer and two entrees and they were all delicious! If you’re in the area and looking for good food along with a nice atmosphere, O’Gillies is the place for you. What a gem of a pub! The food is outstanding. Generous portions and very creative creations. We wanted a salad and wow the season chicken salad and the black and blue steak salad were both amazing. The season chicken salad was unreal chicken, apples, cranberries, mandarin oranges and a delightful raspberry vinaigrette. We also ordered a dozen chicken wings and these were not your typical wings. Probably the largest wings I have seen in 20 years. We will definitely be back! If you are in the Uniontown, Connellsville, laurel highlands or at Nemacolin make the trip it is well worth it!

Ogillies is in my top 3 locally owned restaurants in Uniontown. 9.5 out of 10 times you will have good service. I have tried most of their menu, steaks are very good, salads are a nice size serving, mozzarella sticks are huge and very good, and sandwiches are all good portioned my favorite is the meatball hoagie. Last night I had the peel n eat shrimp appetizer for my meal very good and filling (not over cooked), I had ordered a pound, I also had potato chips which are homemade. My husband had the pepper and sausage pasta good size portion, he said it was very good. Negatives to ogillies sometimes parking and not located on the best side of town, but is safe to go to.

Delicious! This place is much more than it looks like from the outside. Very friendly waitress (Gina), who was also very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. We tested out the Cajun chicken fettuccine, Reuben sandwich, pepperoni pizza, fish and chips, crab cakes, and a shrimp dish. No complaints. I Definitely give this place a thumbs up.
