We found Whistle Stop a few trips to Michigan ago and now we never visit without stopping by for a delicious sandwich and local craft items! Great coffee, too.

We stopped in to pick up milk, and ended up having the best chai latte ever!! The store is tiny but has everything you need in a pinch - plus there were some amazing looking cherry pies I can’t wait to try. The staff is very friendly.

In rural America the best diners take cash and close at 2 pm. After that, the hungry traveler looks for a grocery store for victuals and, if the weather permits, a local park for a picnic. So it was that Google directed me to this "grocery store". Dark magic it was then when I walked in and found myself ordering a latte (with an extra shot) and a wonderful almond croissant! I hope this little treasure is kept in business by the locals. They should be proud of it.

House-made food is excellent and made with very high-quality ingredients. Barista Mikey is wonderful and makes a superb cup of coffee. The wine selection is well curated. You can grab a baguette and some cheese and walk to the beach down the street. It's a nice place to have in the area

Cute little grocery/coffee shop. Has a full latte bar with great barrista's attending to it. I've had 3 different employees make my latte there and they all do excellent. It seems management has done a great job turning things around from faults they dealt with last year. The deli there is also super convenient, you can't get a fresh quality sandwiches anywhere else in the area with quality ingredients like this place. Breakfast bagels are phenomenal. They do a good job keeping up considering its such a small little place. Check it out!

They sell 3 things here: stops, whistles, and coffee. The stops are subpar, the whistles are ok, and the coffee is very good. 5 stars.

Stopped here while on vacation for the first time & got two really good breakfast sandwiches for me and my husband and a bagel for my daughter. I also picked up eggs, some chocolate covered almonds and a small thing of jenis ice cream. The employees were very nice. The price was a bit steep but I realized that a lot of stuff around the area is kind of like that. Our breakfast sandwiches were over $9 and my daughters toasted plain bagel was $5. Other than the price we really enjoyed the sandwich. You could tell it was fresh. Highly recommend!

Was gifted some of their house made granola which was great! Then stopped by for a BYO hot sandwich and an iced latte… it was literally the best sandwich I’ve ever had. And the coffee was wonderfully creamy and made to my liking. Will be stopping by as much as I can while I’m in town
