Love this place - it’s one of my favorites in the DMV area! I tried this place for the first time about 4 years ago, loved it, and have been coming here since. Even though I don’t live in the area any more - I make to stop by every time I’m in town.
Delicious food - I appreciate that there are many vegetarian sides to choose from. The service is friendly and kind every time. Definitely recommend!

Bob let me try the chicken soup, and it was fantastic. Had a little kick to it, which was perfect for me.
I got the Chicken Palau kabob (E-3) and bread on the side. It came with meatsauce and the green sauce which was really good. I should have asked how I can best enjoy the dish, because it was my first time. I forgot about the bread and used all the sauce on the dish, so I ate the bread as-is, which was alright, but I know it would have been better with the meat sauce or with the rice and meat.
I would say this place is underrated, the kabob is great and so is the in-house made bread. Very nice folks and feels like a family place. The gentleman had us taste the chicken soup, excuisite.
I have no comparison to any other Afghani food, but I’ve had the pleasure of working & living in and around the SW Asia/Middle Eastern gulf region. I had the “Super Jumbo (Combination of Quabili Palau and Chalau served with meat sauce and one skewer of each Kabob, Shami, Chicken, Lamb or Beef)” and I will tell you what, it was well worth stopping in here today! The Owner even gave me a sample of the “house soup” while I was waiting for my order which was also so very good.

The place’s atmosphere needs a little bit of love, but the owners’ charm and friendliness makes you overlook it.
On a cold afternoon, you walked in and was greeted with a warm and delicious tea! My gyro was excellent, its salad is so tasty.
Really satisfied!!! Food was amazing, fresh and service was nice too!
Wow! Everything here is amazing! But the thing that really stands out is the chicken, the most tender chicken i have eaten! I go twice a week after i work out and i am slowly working my way through the whole menu!!!
