This has been our go-to Thai restaurant in northern VA for years. We are not alone, as it is consistently rated tops for their Pad Thai. Don't let its humble strip mall location and small size turn you away as the food is excellent. I recently had a delicious chicken and shrimp combo in peanut sauce that was fantastic. My wife had their Pilin chicken and could not get enough of the sauce. My son went with the pad Thai and said it was great. The prices are standard Nova range, so if you are an out of towner just be prepared. But if you are a local, you will find the prices reasonable. If you are in Tyson's corner, I highly recommend you give it a try. 2021 Update. Still our favorite, can't be beat.

I’m not sure how to tell you this but Thai pilin is simply the best Thai restaurant in Northern Virginia. Yeah, it might be a hole in the wall at a run down shopping center but the food is done authentically by Thai people who barely speak English. These people serve up the best damn Thai food and I can say this because I had several Thai families bring me Thai food when I was working with them. I’ve also tried numerous other Thai restaurants. The best dishes for me are the 3 flavored chicken, the steak house salad, and the shrimp and chicken fried rice!!!

An outstanding meal with excellent and quick service. The best Thai food I have had in a while. For anyone wondering, they are still open. They have delivery through DoorDash, so you can satisfy your hunger from the safety of your home!

The food overall is great, but in particular the spicy catfish is EXTRAORDINARY. A must order. Don't forget the mango with sticky rice for dessert!

The best Thai food in the entire DMV! I have been eating here for years. Very authentic and always fresh. I've eaten other Thai restaurants in the area, but none of them compare. My favorite dishes are the 3 Flavored Chicken, Crispy Catfish, Curry Puffs and the Seafood Fried Rice. All of their curry dishes are very good as well.

Great food.....you must try the spicy catfish if you like catfish. Soft shell crabs and man tok were good. I have been going there for the last 10 years and never been disappointed. I recommend you all should go there if you like Thai Food.

Some of the best Thai tea I've had since leaving Asia! Came here for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. I ordered in and the lunch was the perfect size for my appetite. The staff were friendly, the location is good, and the food was very tasty. Would definitely visit again.

Been going here all of my life. Food is delicious. I don't agree with the other reviews, I find the waiter be kind - but quiet, like he's shy or something. He has always been so kind to me and my family. The spring rolls, Chicken Pad Thai and mango rice desert, is what I order every time, and I'm never disappointed!! It's an amazing little hole-in-the-wall resturant. Nothing extravagant, but perfect in so many ways!
