Probably better for lunch. The links were good. Sides and bologna were ok. Didn't really blow me away. I like it's authenticity, and the ladies running the place were very friendly. They even gave me a sample of buttermilk pie, which was better than what I thought it would be. I think it would be a good lunch spot, but I went in for dinner, and was still hungry when I left

Best BBQ I have ever had ! It does not look like a place I would normally stop but I am glad I did and the staff is very friendly also.

Real BBQ. No, it's not the best part of town, but boy do they know how to make good food. I live a LONG way away, but occasionally have to make a trip to TCC or the zoo and have to swing by for a plate. I definitely concur about the pie. The atmosphere is very casual, but I'd put this as among the best bbq in town.

Good BBQ. Ate here for lunch on a Wednesday.

I ordered ribs and chicken with baked beans. Chicken was awesome. Ribs were very good too. The ribs aren't overcooked like they are a lot of places. They still have just the right amount of chew to them. BBQ sauce has a definite molasses flavor to it. Different than what I'm use to at Tulsa BBQ restaurants, but I like it and like that it's different. Hot BBQ sauce has a very delayed heat that takes a little while to catch up with you. Baked beans were delicious.

Service was friendly. The ladies working here really make you feel at home.

Restaurant is sort of a dive and in a not so good part of town. Don't let that deter you. You're probably not going to have your wedding reception here, but it's great food.

Stutta was recommended by a firiend as better than Elmers, and its very close tie. Very good BBQ but the buttermilk pie alone is worth it. Very friendly service, we had a very good time.

Gotta luv Stutts. Tiny place but that's usually where you find the best stuff. Worth the trip!

My opinion... The best BBQ in Tulsa. The buttermilk pie is reason enough to make the drive from south BA.

What to eat: Ribs, hot links, buttermilk pie. What to avoid: Not leaving room for pie.

I met Almead Stutts when I worked down from her restaurant for a medical office, and she came in smelling like Barbecue. I'd just moved here from Mississippi and she proceeded to bring me quite an array of the most delicious BARBECUE and buttermilk pie that ever graced my taste buds. I've brought my mama to her restaurant many times to enjoy the specials and taken home a few extras myself over the years. Mama and I were planning an outing to have BARBECUE for my birthday this year but passed away the week after. I'm making plans ASAP to enjoy a great day and great meal and I won't leave without buttermilk pie❤

Fab-u-lous little place. Just put on National historic places. A must see!!! Built a new outside deck that plays great music, has lights for nighttime dinners. Inside they have extended their dining area to accommodate more hungry eaters. Open on Mondays now and serving a Christmas 🎄 dinner. Definitely stop 🛑 here for all your hunger needs. The Buttermilk Pie 🥧 is the 💣💥 bomb.!!! Enjoy.

Stutts House of BBQ is a North Tulsa black owned institution. The bbq today with delicious with St.Louis ribs, hot links and smoked chicken was very good. The baked beans were sweet and filling. The potato salad had just the right amount of mustard not to be a distraction. The Sunday Special included smoked chicken, cornbread dressing with gravy, green beans, croissant and blackberry cobbler for $12.99! My only complaint was that the smoked beef was diced so small I couldn’t get a good bite of the texture. The place is small but Mrs Stutts and the patrons were all friendly.

Absolutely amazing. My son and I stopped in today and we were not disappointed. Right when you pull up you can smell the delicious bbq and then when you walk in you feel right at home and comfortable almost like you’re walking into Grandma’s house. The food was amazing and you can tell a lot of love is put into everything they make. They do things the old fashioned way and it’s top notch❤️ I can’t wait to go back and take the rest of my family. We had the ribs beans potato salad mixed vegetables candies yams and even tried some of their homemade fried bread. And let me tell you the bbq sauce is delicious too! I got to meet the owner Mrs. Stutts and she is such a sweet treasure

Old School BBQ joint, just off Apache. Tulsa, OK. Just 3-4 minutes north of downtown. Friendliest folks, with some great food and deee-licious pies! Buttermilk and Sweet Potato 🍠🥧! Yum

Clean dining, really friendly service, comfortable atmosphere and some of the best BBQ I've had in a long time. I had the three meat plate (ribs, beef and link sausage) with some really good potato salad and delicious baked beans. I will be back and I would suggest this place to others.

Most excellent food. St. Louis style ribs. Family owned for 30+ years and a slice of pie with each meal. A must do for lunch

The Ribs were very good! Fall off the bone tender. The potato salad is fresh and homemade. The baked beans were not anything special. The beans were just canned beans warmed up. The sides are small. The owner is very kind and accommodating
