It's not that the food was bad but the whole menu design has changed so that it all seemed like a pick your own adventure/mix and match ordeal. There were too many choices to make. How about a list of set menu items that come with the appropriate sides? The food itself was good once the ordering ordeal was over.
Food was not as hot as it should have been. It tasted good though and the service was very good. OTB is always good for a later evening meal.
Great food and service. Fish tacos were fresh and great. Loved sautéed veggies. Birria tacos were amazing. One of our new favorites, sauce set them OFF. Delicious. Busy tonight but was sat down right away. Quick service, super helpful waitress. Thanks Jessica! There was a man helping, serving, cleaning, and was a hard worker. He could really move. Getting chips and stuff out like a well oiled machine. Happy to see staff working together on a Friday night getting customers taken care of.

Everything was delicious and fresh I had the queso chicken with cilantro lime rice and vegetables my bestie was celebrating her birthday and she had the big burrito it was humongous and filled with steak and chicken rice and black beans we also tried the watermelon margaritas she had her Frozen I had mine on the rocks yummy we also received our birthday sopapillas (my birthday was on the 23rd) and free queso I love the prices and also love the rewards program and not to mention we had an awesome server Colby with a K you were great knowledgeable and funny hope to see you next time
Our first time here tonight. We each had a border bowl (steak & chicken) and they were delicious. The chips were huge, actually fun. The white queso was a good choice as the salsa was a bit on the spicy side for my wife but delicious and full of flavor. Caleb was a great server that was both very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be coming back.
Cozy place to sit down for a bite. I ordered flavored tea (mango then I tried the peach). I got the ultimate fajitas about 17.49 and the lunch special 7.99 for 2 enchiladas. One chicken and one cheese. The chicken, steak, pork and shrimp were soft, tender and delicious. The vegetables looked like a variety of squash, variety of bell peppers and onions. It came with the usual 3 flour shells (you can get corn for no extra charge) . The enchiladas were great. The chicken was flavorful and tender. The sauce on top I switched around and there was no extra charge for switching the toppings. And for dessert I got cinnamon sprinkled Carmel stuffed churros with a scoop of ice cream. The staff were helpful and attentive, my waiter was Jason
Service was less than spectacular. However, after speaking with the manager, the food is worth returning and I believe it was an isolated incident.
Our waitress who is an older woman was very flustered when our group came in from a funeral and was beginning to get rude with my family. It wasn't overwhelming because we told her to take a breath and relax we r not in any hurry and understand that it was a lot. She began rude comments to my family of 40. She had other servers already helping her out.l
I've never had a bad experience from On the Border. The staff are always polite, even when you can tell they aren't in the best of moods. The food is always cooked right and super tasty.
