Amazing food, the waiters and waitresses are polite and always social, the atmosphere is sweet and classic. Their chicken fettuccini alfredo is AMAZING.

Mary's is my favorite restaurant in Tulsa. It does take time to get your food, but their house salad is good, simple, and the house dressing is great. It's a homemade ranch with dill, yummy. I love the chicken cutlets. The chicken Champaign is my favorite, but all the others are good too. This is where my family wants to go when they visit Tulsa. It's our tradition.

Absolutely amazing cuisine in my mind. My father loved great Italian food & this is the place we went for special occasions. Nestled off the side of Cherry Street... A diamond in the rough.

This place is like going to your grandma's house.  The atmosphere is cozy and eclectic and the food tastes like it was homemade.  The space is small and the hours are limited, though.

Forget Olive Garden! Come to Mary's, where you can feel like you're at your old Italian grandmother's kitchen again. I have worked here for almost a decade. There is usually only two people cooking for you at any point in time, therefore, sometimes it can be a long wait. Please be understanding and patient with us. If you order appetizers, wine, and bring good company, time flies right by! We want you to be happy. Prepare to spend a few hours here on a Friday or Saturday night, just like how the Italian's dine- taking their precious time and enjoying life. If you want to complain about a long wait, know that it is stated right on the front of the menu that the food can take a while on busy nights (especially if we have a large group- remember- two people cooking for a table of ten takes a while). Don't come starving, but moderately hungry, so you can enjoy your time while you wait for your homemade meal. All of our regulars know it's worth the wait, so they don't mind waiting!

Most of the pastas, all of the salad dressings, the bread, and most desserts are made from scratch- so disregard any reviews that say that we purchase our tomato sauce or bread or that it's just been frozen and thawed before it's served to you. That's simply not true. I know from half a decade of experience working here that it is home made. Yes, you do have to ask for bread to come to your table if you want it before your meal, and that is because it is painstakingly made from scratch every day. That is also why we do not bring out bread to your table every fifteen minutes. But why fill up on bread when the main course is what you came for, right? The chicken champagne is my absolute favorite and I think is really our house specialty. Baked ziti and fettucine alfredo are to die for if you are vegetarian- I can never have store-bought alfredo again after eating here. My boyfriend loves the chicken parmesan, and the breading and tender chicken make it unforgettable. Puttanesca is also one of my top favorites- in fact, I've never eaten anything here I didn't like. I personally never tried it, but I have heard that the veal simply melts in your mouth. I could go on and on forever. The bleu cheese salad dressing, caesar, and red wine vinaigrette are my top favorites, although, most of the regulars do prefer the house dressing which is a blend of creamy Italian, ranch, and dill. Save room for dessert! The best tiramisu in town, lemon icebox pie, raspberry red wine ice, and the chocolate cheesecake with berries are some of my favorites on our long list of homemade treats. The wine menu is constantly being updated with new selections, and we sometimes have wine specials for you to try.

All of the photos and artifacts on the wall are artifacts straight from the owners Bruce and Sherry, and their extended family- such as handmade table decor. Please take care with them like they were your very own.

Support your local business, and take it from me, someone who knows what actually goes on at this beloved Tulsa restaurant that has been around for more than twenty years. Don't pay attention to the people who don't know what they are talking about when it comes to this amazing hidden gem. Negative people have negative things to say because they are unhappy with themselves, and I am shocked that anyone could have a bad time at Mary's. Enjoy!

Cool relaxing family run restaurant Italian restaurant at the beginning of Cherry Street down by Peoria. Started off with the Baked Artichoke heart and it was excellent. I had the Chicken Parmesan which came with a side of spaghetti. this was very good also. As other have stated the food does take a while to arrive so don't come here if you are in a hurry to catch a show. The inside in cute and if you get a table by the window it makes a very nice date night place. I recommend it.

Just like your grandmother would have made - if she made pasta from scratch. I was in Tulsa to see the Monet exhibit at the Philbrook and picked Mary's as my lunch spot based on the Tulsafood.com reviews, as well as other material I saw. I was not disappointed. I ordered the Fettuccini Alfredo because the noodles are made from scratch. I added chicken to it for protein. It was not plated in a fancy way, but it was prepared well, and was delicious. The bread is amazing - also homemade. I'm not even a big bread lover and I ate every crumb. It has the PERFECT crust on it - not an easy feat. The salad was very, very fresh and their house dressing with the dill was exceptional. The had mushroom soup that day and I was torn between that and a salad. At another table I heard a regular say, "You have mushroom soup today? I want some of that!" so I know it must be a favorite. I was too full to have dessert but have read it's wonderful. Mary's is a homey place - it is a family owned restaurant, run by a family, paying homage to their family from the photos to the doilies to the aprons on the wall. If you want everything fancy, this probably isn't for you. It reminded me of being in small neighborhood restaurants in New York and Rome. If you want everything fast, fast, fast, go to your neighborhood Applebees where everything comes prepacked. This is food that's actually prepared for you when you order it. That doesn't happen immediately. But I was waited on by Mary and enjoyed conversation with her as I was finishing my food. I asked for a to-go box and a cup of ice to put in my cooler for the four hour trip home. She sweetly offered to give me a bag of ice instead, which was very kind. I will definitely return on a future trip.

Love it. I love it here. I see people complaining about the 'grandma' feel and the atmosphere, but that is my favorite part. It's a tiny place with awesome food (the chicken parm is the best in town for me... the thin breading is to die for). This is a consistently great place.

Lovely ambiance with genuine family heirlooms and photographs from the owners, and handmade crochet on the tables all with a little touch of your old Italian grandmothers dining room chic. The atmosphere is a mix between romantic and classic Italian diner. The food is unparalleled, made from scratch fettuccine and lasagne, all homemade sauces and desserts crafted by hand with fresh and quality ingredients (the house salad dressing is amazing). Expect a longer wait on your food than normal, but this only gives you more time to spend with your company. All in all, this restaurant is a tulsa classic, after all they've been in business for almost 25 years now so they must be doing something right!

It was a long wait as they just had a party of 16, 6, 4 and 2 come in with only a waiter and a waitress and 2 kitchen staff. Very unusual for summer mid-week. Waitress was very attentive and kept us informed about the situation. Took about 40 minutes to get our food but it was definitely worth the wait. Food was great and then they gave us 2 desserts on the house. Will definitely be back the next time we are in Tulsa.

I absolutely adored this restaurant. I enjoyed the classy and vintage style, as well as the family restaurant feel. The meal was fantastic, as was my fiancee's. The Tiramisu was to die for and is the best I have ever had in my life. The price is definitely worth it for the amazing quality of food. Also, the wait staff was kind, considerate, and even provided us with a candle, giving the night a wonderful feel. It was definitely a magical experience and I will be returning for a special occasion!

The food was fantastic and our server was so darling. There are vintage aprons hung everywhere and cross stitched tablecloths. My husband took me here for my birthday and I couldn't believe how charming this place was! If you like small, local restaurants that are hidden gems- this is one of ‘em. A romantic dinner date restaurant for sure🌹

When I visited Chicago I loved the food experience, so many different and wonderful foods. This was a taste of my vacation right at home. It's like a lot of hole in the wall restaurants, a little difficult to find but absolutely amazing. I had real tiramisu that was to die for. The place was very quiet and intimate, with candles at the table and family decor passed down in generations.

I love Mary's Italian! My family and I go there every time we have an occasion to do so. It has everything! Great food, atmosphere, and superb service. Food does not come out fast, but is made from scratch every time. All pasta, except tortellini, is homemade. Marinara and alfredo sauce are my favorite. Wine is well priced. It's my favorite restaurant of all time.

Mary's is the best Italian restaurant in Tulsa. I love the cheese bread appetizer, the fresh salad and Dill dressing. The pasta is very fresh. Plus the dessert is also great. I like the grasshopper pie, and my dad likes the lemon icebox pie. I have never been disappointed at Mary's and it is also my husbands favorite place to eat. Friday is his birthday and we will be at Mary's.

Stopped by this little Italian place during our visit to Tulsa. We had the fettuccine alfredo with grilled chicken. Dinner was delicious and the sauce was perfect. We had the tiramisu for dessert. Overall a great dining experience.

My wife and I had one of our first dates there 13 years ago and it is still our favorite restaurant in Tulsa. The ambience is unique, the house dressing (a cucumber dill) is amazing, the chicken piccata is perfect every time, and you are a fool if you leave without sampling the tiramisu. You'll fall in love almost as hard as I fell for my wife!

First time here, service was great no wait at noon on a Friday. I had the spaghetti and meatball with marinara sauce. It was delicious. The New York cheesecake was the best I've had. I will be coming back!
