Sooo.....being that we have been in tucson for 9 years and have not been to this place sooner is a travesty. They may of not been around that long but we should've found them sooner. In our defense, with T & B pretty close by and a plethora of other restaurants around its not the easiest to wind up in. That being said.......
This place is an absolute must try. This place is fantastic and im actually sad that we have not been here sooner.
Out of most of the brewery's in the area, this place became our new fav. We've seen the brand around town in restaurants and such buT never been here to visit.
This is by far one of the best (there are many now) breweries in town and a MUST try for beer lovers!

The best beer & coolest beer cans in Tucson!! The brewery and start were both awesome, hands down one of my favorite breweries in AZ!!
Wonderful food at Gentle Ben’s. The ceviche -like dish was delicious. Salads were good sized with nice lettuce and a great selection of beer. It definitely has a college feel to the pub - which makes sense being next to the university. Lots of inside and outside seating choices.
Very good restaurant and best location right in middle of UA campus restaurant/bar area. Service is attentive and friendly. Food is really good many many items to choose from. Beer is great. If you want to sit outside you can feel part of campus life while you eat/drink or else sit inside in the AC.
Massive nachos, enough for four people! Stopped in for lunch and decided to split nachos and have a beer. The nachos were good but a bit soggy with the pico they put on. We ended up getting the guacamole on the side.
Came in for brunch and I ordered breakfast which was delightful. My wife ordered the grilled chicken Ceasar salad and there was a quite a bit of gristle in there so she did not enjoy it so much. The peach Bellini was very good though. Great location and the outdoor patio area is very nice with the misters.

I've dropped in here perhaps a half dozen times in the last year when I'm in the area and want to catch a game.
The bartenders, supervisors, and door greeters are all friendly, seemingly conscientious, polite, and attentive - without being solicitous.
There's a nice selection of bottled beer, drafts, and seasonal selections. It's a full bar, of course, and I've noticed "designer cocktails" on their bar menu.
Seating is indoor/outdoor with a ringed bar that serves both, and the outdoor bar area is expansive - perhaps larger than the indoor seating. A good portion overlooks University Ave for the amateur ethologists and cable car enthusiasts. A separate indoor dining room is available, as well as an upstairs bar area.
Huge televisions are everywhere, and the staff is polite and helpful in accommodating requests for various channels and CC.
I don't believe I have ever sampled the food, nor the upstairs bar area.
The men's room is clean and well-kept!*
This is a large, clean super sports bar within steps of a very large university. The clientele is what you'd expect, and the folks are fun-living, but I've never seen any unruliness, nor minor children!
This operation is clearly run by experienced restauranteurs who hire, train, and supervise the best young workers, who'll then go on to become our future professionals.

We held our daughter's Sweet 16th here on the entire Upper level & it was AMAZING! No one could believe we had gotten such a cool space in the awesome U of A area! The staff and managers were incredible - Eric & Katie made everything top notch! Every guest raved about the catering spread! Delicious! We are fans for life! Every age group absolutely loved the event! You will not be disappointed!
I loved the brussel sprouts and ceviche! My salad was good, too. It's a pretty good place to grab a bite.
Service was eh like a 3.5/5 today. Management was absolutely a 5/5. Drinks were also a 5/5, vibe was a little aged, I’d say like a 4.5/5 and there was some strange characters and some commotion for viewing pleasure on Uni, unfortunately the preferred view was mostly unseen this visit. Great spot right next to campus nonetheless
Loved how clean this place was. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The food here was spectacular, the adult drinks are also very tasty. The burgers are fresh, big and full of veggies, cheese and sauce. The fries were seasoned perfectly and perfectly crisp. Loved the atmosphere as well as the helpful servers. Great stop for dinner to start your night on the strips.
Had a great dinner here last night!! Good burger and a French dip sandwich. Nice laid back atmosphere too!
