Best BBQ I've had in a long time. Small down home resteraunt ran by a wonderful couple. Food is off the bone tender and at a fantastic price. Highly recommend stopping by and trying this little gem out

Don't sleep on this spot and definitely order the Sampler Platter. Use the side of beans as a delicious dipping sauce. All meats are tender, tasty and delicious.

Try this place, the barbeque is tender and delicious. The brisket is smoked perfectly and I especially enjoyed it with the Carolina sauce. Next time I go I am definitely going to have one their BBQ burritos multiple meats, wrapped in bacon, sauces, yep I'm having one. Thanks for coming to my neighborhood.

Great local BBQ business just celebrating it's 1 year anniversary! Best bet is the sampler plate - plenty of food to fill up and likely have leftovers. The ribs and pulled pork are my favorite, coupled with the stupid good bbq beans. It ain't fancy and the place is fairly bare-bones, but the good food will win meat lovers over.

Whenever I visit a BBQ joint, I look for a sampler or combo plate where I can taste the array of BBQ. Red Desert BBQ’s Sampler Plate comes with two sides. We tried the brisket, baby back ribs, pulled pork, coleslaw, and beans. The brisket was tender, and you can taste the hours of smoking in this meat. Bonus points for keeping some of the fat cap on the brisket! The baby back ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and juicy with lots of smoky flavor. The pulled pork was competition ready, tender and not mushy. Bonus points for including pieces of the bark! The beans were balanced with sweet, savory, and smoky flavors. The coleslaw was light and crisp. Mac and Cheese uses Dave’s famous smoked gouda sauce as a base, adding freshly cooked macaroni, and then adding cheddar and gruyere. It was the creamiest and gooiest mac and cheese I have ever eaten! I am still dreaming about it now! I think I would get this again next time, chop up some brisket and mix it in. Now, that would be a meal!

Just go! This place is in a small strip of shops and while it's not "fancy", it's GOOD food and good people. We got the sampler (enough for one hungry husband) but could easily have been split between two people. And for $17 you can't beat it. For $12 we got what was easily a pound of pulled pork and two homemade sides. We've been to some BBQ places that are good but the portions are tiny -- this is not that kind of place. But it was the people who made the place special. They were SO FRIENDLY and so personable. You can tell they're working hard to make their dream a reality and that's worth supporting. We'll absolutely be back. Keep it up, guys!

A coworker recommended Red Desert BBQ. He had the brisket/tater tot plate and I was skeptical so played it safe with the pulled pork sandwich. My pork was outstanding. Moist, flavorful and without typical oversmoked taste. I had a bite of his plate and was jealous that I had not chosen that option. The sauce, brisket, tots and jalapeños plate was excellent. They are moving soon but I will follow. Great food, friendly staff and good sauces. Don’t miss out. This place is great!
